One query @DrPal, doesnt HCl from stomach also have a circadian rhythm ie gets secreted at fixed times of day ? Doesn't that damage the stomach lining if there is prolonged fasting daily ?

Thank you so much for doing this Dr.Pal. This is such a helpful information! I find it so hard to convince my parents to get a wellness check up done once in a year and they out right refuse saying that they're fine and have no health issues and if you go to the doc he's just going to tell you unnecessary things and scare you :(

Hi Dr. Pal, my doctor has suggested to try Ozempic or other GLP_1 medicine to help me to control my obesity and type_2 diabetes . I am reading about lot of bad side effects of these kinds of drugs. Is there any way to reachout to you if we have some questions regarding our diet? Im 34 years old and weigh 55.5kgs. I started intermittent fasting (12pm to 8pm) and I have started eating healthy foods (lots of veggies and fruits). My total calorie never goes higher than 1050 and I feel constipated all the time. Is there anything wrong with my diet?

Dr Pal in the USA although south Asian men are at higher risk for heart disease insurance does not cover regular screening and CAC tests or stress ekg etc from 40 years onwards 😢. Please comment! From 45 onwards we need to do compulsory colonoscopy in the Bay Area but not CAC or stress tests. Colon cancer is not immediately fatal however 1 cardiac arrrest and people die on the spot

There is colonoscopy for the large intestine. Is there any test for the small intestine? Can the small intestine get cancers? For the annual tests that involve taking X rays, is the repeated X ray exposure harmful?
