Yea but the OG roster looks so shallow when the roster count is nearly doubled in DLC characters. He was talking about how you weren't penalized for not pre-ordering and im here thinking "but you are penalized for not getting season passes". The game really has gotten better, but the DLC is something I really can;t forgive especially when (imo) the most broken character in the game is DLC.

If you compaire the old DBZ and not super it surprisingly doesn't have much filler other than the Cell saga with a few episodes which I enjoyed more so because it didn't seem like filler to me. Unlike alot of other animes that when they toss out filler the whole story just changes and you are like "WTF" wheres the filler in the cell saga they always alluded too the tournament coming much closer day by day.

I’m kinda hoping it comes soon,because I have mixed feelings about this game. I do love the grind but I heard it’s not a real good challenge. I saw my Brother playing this the other Day, a T-Rez or whatever was there waiting and my brother placed traps beside the Tree he was hiding, he threw an explosive barrel that you can shoot on and the creature literally came running to the tree and triggered all the traps(loses 3/4 of his health). Apparently that thing was a mini-Boss I’m kinda disappointed on how easy you can cheese the game but I’ll give it a chance. I’m just waiting to hear his strongpoints and what it’s lacking from Joe.

If you are wondering how they did this, they derived the normals for the character models from simplified lighting proxy objects (sphere for a head, cylinder for an arm etc) and then hand edited them at each frame to remove any artifacts. The normals are stored with the triangles in the character model rather than allowing the Unreal engine to auto generate them as the usual case. This yields clean simplified lighting and shadows that don't follow the exact surface topography of the model. In addition, they hand animate the model skeleton without using inverse kinematics (forward kinematics only, basically like animating a claymation model) and do not use auto generated frames in between keyframes (the animation is keyframes only). If they need a higher framerate for a particular animation they make more keyframes. Clothing and hair are also animated with bones not physics simulations. External lines are created by rendering a slightly larger version of the character model that has inward facing black triangles first and then rendering the character model over it. Internal lines are done by using tiled straight line textures which are "drawn" onto the surface of the model with UVs. This makes very high resolution lines that don't blur when the model is zoomed in because the line textures are aligned with the UVs. They also have two versions of each character model, one for long shots and one for closeups (the "long" version of the model is designed so that facial and body detail is more visible when rendered at a smaller resolution). There's a bunch of other stuff too like scaling body parts by scaling the bones for certain animations and non perspective rendering of the models. According to Arc System Works it's actually more work than just hand drawing 2D sprites.

When 5 years go by,and the most content is going to “Xenoverse 2”. The game was hated by KZbinrs for a long time,it was annoying. I almost felt they were praising Fighterz so heavily,so Xenoverse 2 would stop getting content. I like both,but my biggest gripe about Fighterz is the lack of content. XV2 has story,post content parallel missions,ultimate missions,DLC missions and GT missions. With that comes a load of customization for your character and so many characters (including DLC) from the show to play as🤗

MajinCCBThePrince in terms of unmodified humans, he was right behind Tien in the Cell games who in turn was behind Krillin. The gaps between the three have changed back and forth since then but Yamcha is still far and away stronger than, say, Chichi, Roshi, Yajirobe, basically all the other superhuman characters.

I do think they're missing some really cool characters such as Vegito, Gogeta, SSJ4 Goku, SSJ4 Vegeta, SSJ4 Gogeta, Omega Shenron, Super Janemba, Super Buu (gohan absorbed), Cooler, Broly, and Super Android 13. A base character roster of 30 is what I would've liked to have seen.
