The fact that you referenced the traveler inhereting Xbalanque's "will" reminds me a lot of the Narzissenkreuz quest line and the information we learn about Descenders being those with a "Will that rivals the world." Could Xbalanque have been a potential descender at some point in his life, but not made the crucial choice that would materialize his status as such? Can a Descender's will be passed on or inherited? Curiouser and curiouser. The rabbit hole goes ever deeper.

@@iosis9324 as far as i remember only those from outside of Teyvat can be considered a descender regardless of other power... Which is also why Khannriah was searching for one so hard. If someone could just magically become a descender then there would be no reason to search and also no reason for the house of the hearth to exist in its past form. They needed people to come to Teyvat, people from Teyvat couldnt presto chango even if they brought along forbidden knowledge. This is my understanding from the lore from listening to the quest dialogue for genshin impact.

@@yogfan1139 Khaenri'ah pursued many ways to create Descender, House of the Hearth is just one of them. There is no information in the game that would say that people from Teyvat cannot become Descender, and the NRZK (Narzissenkreuz) quest reveals this term in more detail from Khaenri'ah records, Descender is not someone who comes from another world, Descender is someone who has a will capable of resisting the whole world, anyone can become such a will, except Vision users because they have already sold their will and fate to this world, but it is VERY difficult for the residents of Teyvat to become a Descender. One of the NRZK characters would become a Descender if he absorbed whole humanity and was able to obtain the sacred sword of Reason.

My theory has been that Traveller’s kit will be a bit shite for every element but at some point after collecting all of them (Khaenri’ah point, not schneznaya point) he will gain access to some kind of Omni element that is his True Element and he will actually be a good character in that. Ngl, there’s a ton of assumptions in that theory but until I’m proven otherwise I’m gonna have fun with it.

IDK if Xbalanque is going to be playable. But when Neuvillete's drip marketing released he had a quote from Xbalanque which I'm sure you all will remember. There is a pattern of those quoted characters from drip marketing (mostly) always being playable if you exclude the quotes from 'people's opinion' like in Chasca's drip marketing. Characters with titles or important characters like 'Chief Justice' (Neuvillette/Nahida drip marketing), Amber(Collei) etc. Most recent example is Ifa (Ororon). I think that implies that Xbalanque might be playable. I guess it's hopium for now

Or what if we carry mauvika into the sacred flame both dying and being resurrected and paying Mauvikas Price of Death and enabling their resurrection We chose the difficult path of carrying mauvika instead of letting her die and we save her by changing the means of death to pay renovas price. Also I think it's likely mauvika is already on the chopping block because having used the authority in the punch that revealed the true sky and temporarily made everyone in natlan resurrectable via the ode of resurrection. And I believe capitanios request to likely be something like a final pilgrimage (looks over at pyro gemstone, "A pilgrimage for a wish(to save natlan/Defeat the abyss/Prevent another calamity like khanriah); a battle to earn a name(potentially his original name bas been lost and the only way to get it back is through wining this battle ... I really hope PMC is good. Hydro traveler was so insultingly useless it felt like hoyo was disrespecting the face of their own game. I also really like the siblings' designs so it would be nice to have an actual use for them besides swapping to Lumine to feel nostalgic when I open a chest.

Interesting theory. I always has my werid theory that absent Pyro Traveller is due "dead" Pyro Sovergin and his hatred for humanity. And we need to do something about it so we have a story with our saurian. All said, we need to collect this amulets (dragon eyes) and go to Vulcano. But I think we will go to "resurect" Sovergin dragon. Maybye not literally but in some way. Maybe our saurian become new Sovergin (lol) because Sovergin power is in land and saurian sometimes inherited it, and this ritual coleted it in one place probably and from the ashes will be reborn new Sovergin. It not exactly be this evil one but his power be inherited. I think dragon in Natlan are not understand by humans and their heatred have some reason. So we will be on this same side and he share his power to Travellers, becouse we are Chosen of the Dragons (from other Nation).

Personally I don’t think we will get pyro traveler from the archon quest. My theory is that we will get it at the conclusion of the little one world quest when we take the golden entreaty to the volcano and potentially interact with some remnant of the pyro sovereign directly. The lore from this world quest is way too important to allow it to be optional and locking pyro traveler behind it is imho the best way to make sure as many people as possible finish it.

Talking about the Traveler elements, the Traveler gain a new elements for every New Nation and we know that they will be a Khaenri'ha chapter and we also know that Dainsleif will be playable and he use some kind of Abyssal power, making the Abyssal power a new type of elements...i think So do you think just like the Abyssal siblings the Traveler will gain the power of the Abyss ?

Maybe in Khaenri'ah we unlock some dark-magic element like Dain, I doubt that Traveler will keep using Cryo until the end. If we end up going to Celestia, we could even obtain the element of light, or the Traveler's original power.

It sounds like you are saying the traveler won't become the pyro archon based on the idea that the archon needs to be someone like Raiden or nahida who is well known and absolutely tied to the region I think the archon doesn't need to be that way, as you mention in the video venti and zhongli and both absent archons with no-one knowing who they are, but presumably they are still the archon to Celestia, even without the gnosis. Pretty sure venti says something like this after getting the gnosis stolen. As far as I know there is no absolute reason the traveler couldn't become the archon, then mavuika can still be the "ruler" of natlan. The statues of the seven would change, but the people of natlan clearly hold great respect for her as a warrior first

I agree with the first half of the video, but the second one doesn't really make any sense.The idea that the PMC would be on par with the likes of benny or xiangling assumes that the devs care about making the PMC a strong unit in gameplay, which is absolutely never going to happen, given that PMC will be 100% free (You don't even need to pull cons for them). Like you said though, the traveler will most likely be able to use the scroll set, which is massive by itself and also the reason why I don't see the PMC being singificantly good on their own. Their value will probably entirely derive from being a second free character that can proc the scroll set buff so that players can use it in both halves of the spiral abyss. Genshin might be a good game, but it's still a gacha game and it is good in spite of that fact, and by virtue of its nature as a gacha game, we will only see a benny and/or xiangling side- or upgrade in the form of a 5* gacha character.

The game does not say that they are powerful, the game says that they are UNIQUE, well, it says they were kind of strong before their power was sealed, even though they lost in two against one Unknown God. And I would bet that this is NOT their story, this is the story of Paimon judging by the art of the game, this is the story of Vision users judging by the name of the game and this is the story of the Archons judging by the fact that the main quests of the game are Archon Quests, Traveler are just those through whom we witness the story of these characters.
