The Speedy guy didn't log into the character that originally got Speedy. When the Pet Journal was introduced in 2012, you had to log into each character to get the pets they'd collected into the account-wide pet journal. Since this guy boosted a new character instead of logging into the old character, Speedy wasn't added to the journal. It isn't lost or missing, it just isn't added to the journal.

Both my parents are from Nebraska and it is quite frankly a farmer and retired farmer state there’s literally nothing to do except square dance on the weekends. My dad came from a town that you can drive through in less than five minutes one of those towns that you can just stay on the highway have to slow down at 30 miles an hour for a block or two and then you’re out of the town again. My mom came from a town that downtown Main Street area it’s still cobblestone street The place hasn’t changed since the 30s and there’s nothing wrong with that but to a young kid when I went to see my grandparents up there there was nothing to do a lot of places you could not get the Internet it was not an option you spend your day either playing outside or reading a book that’s about all you can do and while that might be fun for some it’s not fun for me

I've only been playing with my survival hunter for 3-4 weeks this expansion (exclusively for m+), gearing entirely with pugs, and I'm already timing 15s with 6-7k overalls. I wasn't expecting to do this well, often outdpsing MM hunters with 8 more ilvls than me.

As one of those MM hunters that messes around in "low" 16-18 keys as SV, it really is a super fun spec to play and the damage in AoE is actually there. It just does absolutely nothing when it comes to single target. Even playing the incredibly boring Birds of Prey build for pure single target only results in a ~2% ST increase in a perfect fight at the cost of all AoE and cleave (and requires about 1 min of continuous uptime every 2 minutes or else the build falls apart). The Raptor Strike buff on the PTR is a good start but still not enough to get them to anywhere appreciable.

the ST on bosses is pretty mediocre but not bad enough to be a hindrance on higher keys if you play your CDs right, i.e. Wakener's frond + coordinated assault + wild spirits + agility pot at the start, and making maximum use of kill command to avoid running out of focus while Wild Spirits is up, you can do 5-7k on a boss, you probably won't beat a boomie or affliction warlock, but you can carry them on the rest of the dungeon

I'll never forget the story Lore told about working at Blizzard with death threats , Blizzard security had him stay at work while they went and arrested a guy that was outside Lore's house with a gun sitting in his car . If i remember correctly it was over Josh making a post about a class being nerfed or something .

In a vacuum, Survival Hunter is pretty good. A melee fighter with a pet and all of the hunter utility stuff is really fun. Unfortunately, it is attached to 2 ranged specs. I would like to see the kit of Survival be made into its own class.

I can totally relate to the low FPS story. Played my whole life on a potato (until 4 weeks before SL pre patch). Nzoth mythic prog on 10fps was quite the experience: BL was an actual dps loss because my computer would freeze lol. I think my position on meters shot up 5-6 places after getting an actual computer my guild was confused until they knew about it 😂

That poor dude got screwed on the Speedy thing. Long ago I'd deleted my character that had a Spirit of Competition and at some point I contacted Blizzard to see if I could get the pet back. I didn't even mention the character he was on, and the GM still restored that guy who'd been deleted for at least 3 years at that point.
