But imagine hiring a white actor in the black role because of talent. I have no problems with this show until I learned about blackwashed characters. Gaiman is a very creative man. Can't he create new original black characters if he truly cares about talent and inclusion and let those actors shine in their own roles.

That gotta be a reference to Journey to the West Buddha challenged Sun Wukong to escape from his palm. Sun Wukong accepted and used his cloud step to fly trillion of miles away to the edge of the (observable) universe. At there, he saw 5 pillars, arrogantly thought that he had won, Wukong wrote “I was here” then pissed onto one of the pillar as a mark of victory. However, Buddha soon appeared and told Wukong to look at his finger. Wukong saw his writing (and piss pool), realizing he had lost, Wulong tried to escape. Buddha simply turned his palm upside down, crushed Wukong under a sealing mountain.
