Dreamcatcher's title tracks are all metal/rock influenced, but their discography is filled with basically every genre. They're the most unique group in KPOP. You should also check out the K rock group Rolling Quartz

Just to clarify: Dreamcatcher is a kpop GROUP while RQ is a rock BAND. Some people may get confused between those concepts. If you say DC is a band, they could expect live instruments, and if you say RQ is a group people'll maybe expect something like DC with choreographies, as an example.

Omg yeeeees be prepared for vocals, rock and metal influences in the title tracks (sometimes edm) and jazzy b sides. Very Very sick choreography. They got so many good song. This song is part of a trilogy: Scream, Boca and Odd Eye. Their most recent comeback was "BEcause" (so good). A little bit of the group story: 5 of the members debuted on 2014 under the name "Minx" and their concept was cute/sexy (I would say). (Members don't like to remember those times) Unfortunately (or not) it didn't go well so they disbanded in 2015 (I think) and a few months later the company said they were going to re-debut the group and add two more members. And that how Dreamcatcher came into the world on January 13th, 2017 (it was friday) with their song "Chase Me" which has a heavy rock influence. I love how each year more people are curious about them. They definitely deserve it. Their songs are gold.

I don't even follow them that much but I do enjoy their music a lot, they're incredibly talented with a lot of songs influenced by rock and even metal. I recommend songs like "Boca", "BEcause" or "Scream". These songs are what made me interested in them including "Odd Eye".

Welcome to the Dreamworld, and thanks to Victoria! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!

this song is the third part of a Trilogy. the first part of the trilogy has the title track SCREAM and it has a full album called THE TREE OF LANGUAGE. that album is one of the best albums I've heard in Kpop, and I am not kidding, it's like a whole packed meal, u got all the tastes of all the genres. and the second part is BOCA, mostly the song that gave them more attention.

Dreamcatcher is insane!!! They do have a full album which is called Dystopia: Tree of Language and is the first part of the Dystopia series! Odd Eye is actually the final part, and the middle one is Boca! I truly think Odd Eye is their best work. I’m in LOVE with the guitar riff and general attitude of the song and it really shows their talent and work over their whole career. And you don’t even know how intense their choreo really is yet, because the MVs cut so much of it out. Dreamcatcher truly is an all-arounder. Insane choreo, music, vocals, visuals-just everything! Plus several members are involved with writing/production/choreography. They truly have pioneered the girl group rock sound that’s starting to catch on. *No one* is doing it like them. And a lot of their songs give me Evanescence/Paramore/Within Temptation vibes so I definitely get what you mean about the early 2000s pop-rock influence! Hope you check out more of them!!! If you go through a full album or include b-sides in a discography deep dive I guarantee you’ll be blown away, because all their title tracks are rock-influenced but that’s far from the only thing they do, and their versatility will truly stun you.

Fellow Houstonian who grew up on UGK, DJ Screw etc...Dreamcatcher are definitely my favorite Kpop girl group and have--imo--one of the best female group main rappers in Dami and one of the best main vocalists in Siyeon. They definitely have a rock inspired theme in their title tracks and get even heavier in some of their past songs (especially their Japanese tracks). As many have already said, their other songs will touch on many different genres while still fitting a concept that we can only describe as "Dreamcatcher sound". You really can't go wrong in choosing the next song to react to.

Their title tracks are all bangers, but their B-sides are incomparable... May I suggest the starting point: 1. Scream (first of trilogy... Odd Eye was third) 2. Piri Then there are some Japanese releases, which will satisfy hardcore metal-heads and check out their B-sides.... You won't be disappointed... Even Intros are awesome!! DC just don't delivers on every level and you will be glad you've discovered them... DC put out tons of contents and you will immediately fall in love with every single one of the members.... JiU...SuA...SiYeon...HanDong...YooHyeon...DaMi...and GaHyeon... they debuted under the Dreamcatcher company(a side label of HappyFace ent.)... the fandom is called: InSomnia... they are currently preparing for their comeback... but if you want to check out more from them...for the start of your Dreamcatcher journey... Their first full album start with Scream MV which is their first song of Dystopia trilogy. The first full album is such a masterpiece. The holy trinity bside is red sun, sahara and black or white. They also have a very rock metal bside in thst album called scar, a jazz sound called jazz bar, also a very techno edm sound called in the frozen bar (someone correct me how do i describe this song) and don't forhet their intro and outro are the best song too!! Also the album contain our main vocalist solo single

Debut: January, Friday-The-Thirteenth, 2017...kind-of... The song is Chase Me and it starts a storyline called the Nightmare arc (which Odd Eye is not part of; this is a different storyline arc). I am mad at the person who suggested this one first because its' the END song of a trilogy storyline. :P DC doesn't have any bad songs, or if they do, they were scrapped and never saw the light of day. ANYTHING you find on the internet, it's good or great or World-Stomping. :)

Congratulations and welcome to the world of DC. They are something special, because there is already a lot in KPop - as I would say as a German - irrelevant "Breid". And if you want to get really emotional and cry a little I recommend "Deja Vu", "Shadow (slow version)" as well as "Speechless" (an outstanding cover from the movie "Aladin" by DC's Siyoen - and I hate Disney, but Siyeon's vocal power is unbelievable). Otherwise initially as more rock songs "BECause", "Breaking out", "Boca" and "Scream". Have fun.

did you say genre switch-up? dreamcatcher \:D/ all their songs are different because they are constantly blending all genres across all time periods together. they are also known for blending rock/metal influences in a lot of their songs. and you are right, odd eye uses 90s/20s pop influence in the chorus. there also put a lot into their music videos, but that's another can of worms. and don't worry, they have over 70 songs, each one uniquely different. their latest title track is 'because'

Glad you like Odd Eye. Yes, experience the intensity 🤘 yes the early 2000 influence is evident with Dreamcatcher. Checkout the second verse of BEcause. Scream would be another intense song and suitable for workout bgm and talks about something important. Endless Night is their Japanese single that'd pump you up and have positive message at that.
