I love how they just gloss over the fact that in his stand-up, he basically implies that she's like, a practice girlfriend to learn sex stuff from. This seems very much like repeat trauma against her. Yikes. She had issues with her father, got her boundaries and autonomy disrespected by this dude, and then was forced to sit down and talk about it all with random people for a show in a way that didn't respect her again. for real though, besides being a dumb show, Ghosted is a way for entitled and possibly harmful people to track down exes who had a right to leave them. Like imagine if someone ghosted a person because they started to not feel safe in the relationship, so they blocked them and ran in order to protect themselves. Then imagine that the person who was ghosted used this show to find them. Who knows what could happen after filming wraps.

He proceeded to call my phone numerous times and message me on different apps even after I told him he was scaring me, wait for me outside my uni hall of residence, death stare me & my friends whenever we were in the same eating hall/class, and told all his friends I was a whore. THEN came up to me at the uni ball (I didn't see him coming so that scared the shit out of me) and ask to dance??? I've moved cities and it's been almost 2 years but he's still blocked on everything. Like i wish i could just act online as I want to, and not as i _have_ to for a creepy guy. Thank god we're on different continents but last year i panicked so hard when i opened my personal email (For bank, school and serious stuff only) and found like 4 mails from different GMails but from the same 'stalker' (I don't know if to call him that because we used to be friends for like 7 or 8 months and ended up cutting ties with him for making me feel like shit) trying to gaslight me to talk to him and then cursing and insulting me to no end. I had no memory of ever giving him that email, and it had my reall full name on it. I'm still so creeped out. Some months ago he found my new discord and messaged me acting like a different person. Like i can't even know if who i'm talking to isn't him disguised. I genuinely can't trust making new friends or doing anything normal. I agree that she probably didn't wanna be on the show at first, however I suspect she got paid for it and a chance to be on telly isn't that bad a deal. I thought the crew handled her pretty well actually.....that dude however, he got thrown under the bus like hot garbage. So to be fair, if she had been emotionally mature enough to communicate like an adult with the person she was dating....none of that mishegoss would have occurred. Antisocial behaviours like "ghosting" someone is problematic in relationships and should be a red flag. The dude was (essentially) stalking her. That's why you always give them closure when you break up. 😞 I'm not saying she's entirely at fault, only that she was 50% of the problem there.

You can't build with someone if you don't know what type of wood they are using. If you want someone to accept you for who you are, how are they gonna do that if they don't know what makes you who you are. At some point your gonna have to tell them who you are... It's fine if it takes a while, infact it should, it shouldn't have to be that you automatically trust your partner in the beginning unless your good friends Had she not told him anything those jokes on sexuality he made probably still would have been said, and she'd still be offended but have no right to feel offended then. But rather he'd say it again or not, shouldn't matter. I highly doubt he made those jokes to take advantage of her vulnerability. She says she learned to put walls up but it's all becuz of jokes he made about her being freaky, not about her being sexually harassed. Her putting walls up was clearly out of emotions. Nothing wrong with emotions but it can't be the driving force out of reaction

However, when I have friends who make jokes about me I don't leave them forever, I go to them and communicate with them, if they do it again then okay fair, she just straight ghosted him, didn't even give him a chance to apologize cuz her ego was bruised. Have you heard the shit Kevin Hart or Gabriel Iglesias says about their love lives, they said much worst jokes. Especially kevin about how freaky women he's dealt with are. she's just too sensitive, which isn't necessarily bad but she should have been mature enough to atleast communicate with him, rather than secretly go to his show to hear one bad joke, that's like me secretly going to my gf work place and hearing her say something bad about me so I dump her, it's stupid cuz I guarantee every person you been with had had thought atleast one bad thing about you.

@@akkoismydaughter3573 yep, it’s the woman that needed to learn communication and be more mature, and it’s the woman whose ego was bruised and was too sensitive. Not the guy who knowingly made shitty and toxic stand up jokes behind his partner’s back, and then berated her for getting mad at him for it. Not the guy who tracked down his ex months after the relationship had ended, when she was already in another relationship and more time had passed since they’d been together than when they’d actually been together. Not the guy who thinks he can still be the comforting white knight, saying “it’s ok” to his crying ex after he tracked her down, made her confess her personal life in the spotlight, and then rejected her immediately after. It’s probably mostly fake anyway, because I can’t imagine she would actually still love the guy after all of this shit, so this argument is likely pointless. However, if we’re really going to moralize these people and analyze them, one is clearly more flawed than the other.

@@macknight2352 @Mac Knight nah I'm not saying the guy wasn't shitty himself, he def could have been more mature, and not be a stalker. I just feel like it's all being put on the guy becuz he's clearly more flawed and has bad way of doing things, while we are overlooking what the women could have done better. Just put it into perspective, the jokes he made was about her freakiness, nothing was about her having dad issues or her personal baggage, just jokes he most likely thought would be relatable, and to be fair when he said thanks for the pta for the girls I do want, yeah that was honestly a part that bothered me, but it is stand up, you don't watch Kevin Hart and think those stories are the real him, you know they are a bit exaggerating to be more funny, you know he's partly in there but you know you can't base all his intentions off his jokes, so I get why she lost her trust at that part, but if he really wanted other girls he wouldn't have cared when she dumped him, you don't care about closure if you don't like the women. Look I ain't tryna make an argument out of this just giving a different perspective, we don't have to agree with eachother but all I'm saying is that guy is flawed and he needs to work on himself, but she definitely is just as flawed and she expects a guy to accept all her baggage, which is how it should be, but as soon as he makes one fuck up, she doesn't even try to accept his and give a chance, she just goes instantly to blocking which is petty becuz you know she did that to make him feel some type cuz she felt some type herself. And then she's crying cuz a man said she's too freaky, get over it, if your crying cuz someone said that, you most likely are, and even if not, why do you honestly care?

It gave me war flashbacks to my failed marriage when he said “It’s okay,” immediately after he gaslit her and invalidated her hurt feelings. And you just knoowww he felt like he was being so gentlemanly and comforting her, after kindly informing her that what HE’D suffered so much over, her reason to feel hurt wasn’t actually a big deal. I hope Jordan (or any victim on that show) knows that it’s 1000% ok to ghost somebody who is a toxic ex or even just a creep you don’t trust. This show really guilt tripped her into changing her mindset to be “ghosting = bad” ummm no. Her ex literally tracked down her email before they were even dating and then lied to her about his comedy shows and for the cherry on top, he tried to gaslight her on television... Jordan, you are not in the wrong here. We’re all rooting for you, queen. + if anyone cares, I actually have a story about this lol. I once had to ghost a friend after I found out they were lying to me and deceiving me for about a month. I couldn’t trust them anymore and they broke my heart so I had every right to block them. After I ghosted them, they made over 40 instagram accounts just to stalk me (like they would make an account, and when I caught them viewing my story or liking my post I would block them and the cycle continued until they got up to 40 accounts) and then they made two instagram hate pages for me... yea. People are fucking crazy. Don’t let anyone guilt trip you into thinking you’re wrong for leaving them. It’s your life, it should be your decision on who has access to it.

I absolutely abhor how this all went down. Not only was it insanely disgusting & enabling to let him interrogate her after what he did, but to give him the final blow in all of this? To let him be the one to reject her likely gave him a feeling of power, a feeling of victory after HE messed up. He shouldn't have had any of these interactions with her.
