This gun looks beautiful equipped with the Holographic sight, and grenade launcher. Don't really use the grenade launcher. Just like to attach it because it looks cool. Do any of you guys tend to do that with your weapons where you just add certain attachments because you think it looks cool(Besides the camos.)? lol

Unless you are a peruvian marine or SIMA tech is hard to believe that, because the FAD is a prototype and all about its development is classified info. Maybe the first prototype shoots at 550 rpm, but the last version is better. They are combined the reliability from the israeli Galil (to be used in the desert and jungle) and the trigger mechanism from the FN F2000 (used by our marines)...looks like they done it.

I absolutely love this gun. It took less than 10 hrs of game time to get gold. (waaay faster than my other gold ARs) and it is, as Drift0r said, CONSISTENT. I pretty much know I need 4 shots to kill anyone anywhere. It is my biggest problem with some of the other guns that melt up close but need 10 rounds at distance. It really is great and as suggested it can be used in an SMG-like fashion viably too. Just a really great gun....and SUPER fun like the Skorpion in BO2 because of the mongo rate of fire. It's like using a CBJ-MS that can actually kill someone.

the FAD is one of the only few weapons in ghosts that i can do very well with. it's overall performance is way more towards my style then even the subs. I put on foregrip for sure, then either silencer, muzzle break or ext mags, just tears 'em up. i love it!

Oh btw Drift, I had the exact same condition you have right now, so I get what you're going through. I actually recommend getting surgery for it, if you're able to afford it of course. Back surgery sounds scary at such a young age (I'm 23), but trust me, it's worth it. The surgery is extremely minor and not invasive whatsoever (well, for back surgery at least). The surgery is an instant fix, I had the surgery done on a Friday, and on Saturday morning I was able to get up and do a 3 mile walk. Again, I realize surgery may seem drastic, but having extreme pain in your lower back/leg every time you aren't laying down is just too much. Best of luck and I hope you get better soon, because that condition fucking sucks.

FAD is actually my favourite weapon. i feel the recoil very manageable (not sure if this word exist...) and i like the iron sight. i use it with suppressor and FMJ and i found this combo incredibly effective. with the FAD i did my best killstreaks, i was able to use the "loki" multiple times

the cool thing bout the fad is that when u put a brings it up to the headon it it tops swaying and only kicks up so if ur aiming at stomach or chest its own recoil brings it up to the head

I don't disagree with the facts, but I'm surprised by them - especially the high recoil. Some things that Driftor might have not mentioned in this episode is that this (except for perhaps the Chain SAW) is the best gun in the game for wall banging. It gives you capacity and rate of fire which are very important. Another important aspect of wall banging is having as high of a bullet damage value hitting the wall as possible, which is why I defend using the muzzle break on this weapon on top of Armor Piercing when running a close quarters class for the FAD. Another reason to use the muzzle brake with this weapon is that it has a very gradual damage scale over a long range which means that multipliers gained through dead eye and head shots push the kill range out to very impressive ranges. For example: based on Driftor's initial measurement of 16.25 meters for a 3 hit kill and the damage scale rate, we can calculate that 1 head shot or 1 deadeye round pushes the standard 3 shot range out to 27.75m and out to 33+ with muzzle brake.

This is honestly my new favorite gun. Because of how bad it sucked in MW3, it was (unfortunately) the last AR I unlocked, but I put a VMR sight and silencer on it, and run it with Fully Loaded, Quickdraw, Focus, and Dead Silence. The VMR /really/ helps with the accuracy, and I've improved my KD a ton with this weapon. Just do NOT use a Thermal Sight unless you're using grip, but even that doesn't help.

I've had a good time with deadeye on this gun. I prefer stalker, deadeye, dead silence, and ready up with silencer and armor piercing. Try it out: the fast ROF makes deadeye hit fairly consistently.

I love the FAD, I personally don't like the iron sight so I use a red dot with a foregrip which is a beast and I use the extra attachment perk and put on a muzzle break

Well, unless the info was faulty in the video I watched which compared all assault rifles time to kill: short/long range. FAD should be the number one AR close up, and 1st or at least 2nd at distance. Of course you should get the grip attachment, keep the iron sight (get gold camo), and get a silencer (silencers are vital in this game).

Otherworldly Music I love the FAD. Great up close and great at distance since the number of shots needed doesn't change dramatically. I would 'object' to your assertion that silencers are vital in Ghosts. The mini-map isn't great and the orange dot doesn't remain there very long. I find silencer is only useful if I sneak up on someone and he has a teammate running with him. With silencer they are both dead no problem. Without the other guy will hear me shoot his buddy and has half a chance to turn on me. Otherwise I like to hear the gun growl. I don't stay in one place or camp at all either so even if my dot shows up I'm long gone by the time any player rushes over there.

personally, i perfer the FAD over any other assault rifle. my class setup is actually an unusual setup, not one i would see you working with. i actually do nothing but run. i have the FAD extended mags, foregrip, marathon, overkill, ready up, reflex, focus, tac-12 with muzzle brake. i dont run with lethal or taticals because i never use them. I use the extended mags to prevent myself from reloading all the damn time and this way i can kill 4 or 5 enemys without stopping. the grip to help with the recoil for those longer ranges, and focus because this tends to make you look at the sky when shot. i use the tac 12 for clearing buildings because the fad sucks at close range i feel. and of course you need ready up on and marathon class and reflex to help swap guns faster. i never stop moving unless im pinned down. what do you think?

I wanted a hybrid class that WASN'T the TAR ( Have one class with TAR and I am sick of it). Tried the ARX and then moved to this. For me it works well on smaller levels lie Freight. Sure the three bullet kill distance is bad but it drops people in 4 at any distance. I like the iron sights on it. The clip is big and I would love to use a bigger clip but I need the grip and silencer.....who the hell made 3 attachments 3 perk points. It literally doesn't pay to use it to get a bigger clip if the extra mags and scav are just 2 points.

I only use ARs and this one is by far my favorite. The large mag is amazing!! I use a vmr sight with a suppressor, it is super accurate and always kills quickly! Strongly recommend it!

I think this is a great weapon and I can confidentaly say that almost every game I use it, I get a battle hind. ( this is pretty good for me). For attachments I use suppressor, foregrip and for perks I use quickdraw, sleight of hand, scavenger, focus, amplify, ( i have a decent headset which makes amplify like a small radar in my head). go and try this if u like :)

Hmm... Interesting that a increase of 4-1 Point/s Damage can make such a huge difference. Look at the FAD from MW3 where it took 4-5 Shots to kill.
