Hi from Ukraine, enjoying your beautiful overviews of pubs and greatest beer, ale. For my personal opinion English beer is the best. Thanks for the opportunity to have such virtual tours over all these wonderful places.

The history of the area is fascinating. It is interesting none of the trees date back to the old buildings. I imagine they cut all the trees down at some point. I'm reminded of the Zeppelin album cover with the guy collecting branches.

1. I love that you take a true pull off of these beers before commenting. 2. After watching many of your videos, I've come to find that I'm in love with REAL English pubs. As someone from the States, all I want to do right now is drink a pint in an authentic English pub. The more boring they are, the better. (Maybe it's my age) 3. You're doing a great job, I enjoy thes vids so much. I tried to buy you some pints but the transaction wouldn't go through. Not sure what the issue was. I'll keep trying. 4. Cheers!

Same. I just brewed a Best Bitter and an English Brown that were both fantastic. I love being able to brew beers I can't get easily in my area (Oregon). That said, my local small brewery almost always has one English beer available and I just learned they are getting a beer engine next month. I'm chuffed!

Love how you're increasing the amount of "extra content" in you're videos.. While the Pubs are the star of the show it's nice that you're giving more information about the local towns and their history and also spotlighting significant places like the church that the Bronte Sisters' parents were married in. Potting Shed is poor and over rated. For all you craft ale fans, there is a bottle shop called The Hoptimist which is fantastic. If you are a dark beer/stout fan then they have possibly the best selection in Yorkshire (yes I am a fan! 😀).
@infoscholar522114 күн бұрын
The Alcohol tax in the UK is bollocks - I watch many UK YTubers ers and I marvel that the cask ale is 3.2 - 3.9 ABV. I am sat in a town near Huntsville, Alabama (Rocket City), we got all the best Nazi Scientists after WWII - and the local breweries feature similar Stouts, Malts, and IPAs, with ABVs that are 6-11( ! ) Abv. America isn't perfect, we have loads of stupid laws, too, but Brits are basically drinking lite beer, because of corporate greed, a shame, for a country with such a rich beer culture.
@RealAlesRealPubs13 күн бұрын
Tbf the lower average ABV isn’t just for tax reasons, it’s because we have much more of a “session” culture than other countries… I.E people like to go out for a dozen or more pints!
