When you strip away the sarcasm and narrative structure from the latest Abroad in Japan video, you're left with this relaxing, 2 minute cinematic escape, showcasing the stunning beauty of the Japanese countryside. Indulge in it! Escape to it! - And then go and watch the full 20 minute video with the sarcasm and the narrative structure: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4LaYoathdRji6M

Japanese summer and its sheer greenery is its own marvel to behold. You sweat like a pig, constanly longing for pool and ice cold drinks, chase after gigantic gokiburi endlessly, but when you rewind the entire experience in different perspective, here is the result. Unlike the summers of elsewhere, which is more about loud beach party, it is rather melancholic, memorable, and subtly beautiful, like a mellow music that you just don't want to ever end. Yet, it is also dramatic, majestic, and elegantly wrapped in endless greenery that will soon turn red and yellow in the oncoming season.
