the 1.2T engine's timing belt is a problem, but this video's one looks is an E-car. So they are almost the same for whole of EV unless Tesla. LOL

Bad. Drove one from work 100km + you cant even hear the music in the car, feels like cheap overall but it is pretty good looking. I would never buy such a car tho

I own the previous model and the infotainment unit only uses part of the screen (sides are cut off and shows the aircon settings etc) Would you by any chance know if it's possible to have an update to make it actually work properly like in this newer model? I paid extra for the bigger screen and can't even use it properly lmao..

i e-mailed peugeot directly about this, they literally said they won’t be doing anything about it and the previous model will not be recieving any infotainment software updates, so yeah we’re stuck with that ig

I owned a Peugoet 2008 ( a small SUV) in China before, but I sold it finally. 2 weeks ago i bought one Fusion AWD 2.0T gas version in Canada, even it is a used vehicel, but i ike it more than 2008.

it's absolutely not bad, they've had some problems with the 1.2 puretech turbo with the wet belt, as it degraded prematurely on some engines, but they fixed it opting for a chain, so it's completely solved now. On GT trim Interior quality is very good, sound insolation is amazing for a car this size and styling is very good tho (although subjective). One of the best small cars

I was under the same question in March of this year and I ended up buying the 208 GT Hybrid 100. Both cars are similar, i even found the Corsa a little bit more confortable in the back seats, and i'm not a huge fan of the 208 driving position, but in the end the Peugeot financing was better because the residual value at the end of the contract was higher in the 208, so the monthly financing was slightly lower. Also, it was on the Peugeot Lion days promo so... it was a good price. Still waiting for it to arrive though, in June.

The Hybrid engine makes a lot of whistles, regen noises, and the 1.2 puretech does make a little noise if you press it hard. If you put it in sport mode, it's even louder. However it doesnt bothered me when i was test-driving it, i actualy found the whistles from the regen quite "techy". It gives you the petrol feeling and also can scratch the feeling of EV-style driving for some meters, it's actualy quite a rewarding driving style.

It's a matter of taste. It's more of a young people car, or people that want more "techy" futuristic feeling. I have a Nissan Qashqai 2023 that has a lovely interior that i love, but my wife says it's an old guy car interior, no fun stuff happening, so she loves the 208. Can't please everyone i guess.

@@navybIue i had renault and peugeot and this cars had a lot of engine problems. repair costs would always be more than 800€. not reliable cars but who knows maybe new ones are better. i really like the design that’s for sure. i suggest you to ask people that own this specific model for more than 1 year before purchasing
