Really? Jeep crapped the bed then, instead of saying "yep this Jeep crapped the bed BUT let me show you video of how cool this thing looked off road in slow mo" And that's not even addressing how they asked Jeep what "trail rated" meant with the Renegade (which is 100% Fiat under the hood btw) and the rep refused to answer. There is a difference between an influencer and a review. Just look at every other Nation that reviews Jeeps, Aussies in particular. Remove the "USA!!!" From a USA born review? Oh the view is very different. "Just over 2 weeks"... For service bulletins? Aka stuff they already know how to fix and don't have to diagnose themselves? The difference between a critical review and an influencer.

No f'ing way a normal dealer is going to repaint body work "under warranty" My 2017 Chrysler 300, with 3,100 miles on it had the paint flaking off the white seats (2018+ models went to better leather but 2017 white interior was painted leather) Dealer said they would replace leather no problem - ordered the part then called me in to collect the car and told me I would have to pay out of pocket for the work. I argued it was insane to think an 8 month old car with 3100 miles would have the leather falling apart and they even agreed and stood their ground that I could either pay $1300 out of pocket to replace the seat cover or take a hike. I took a hike - I'm still mad about that. Airpark Chrysler Jeep Dodge was the dealer in Scottsdale.

I had a jeep once, had trouble climbing a hill which was a paved road, got to about 8600 feet, and I pulled over to find my radiator had over flowed and most of the antifreeze went into the air cleaner, I removed the air cleaned, release the pressure with the radiator. and everything worked fine. I reversed everything when I got off the hill, and replaced the air cleaner with a new one. I also removed the sponge filter on the bottom of the filter to allow more air to flow.

Long time Mopar guy here. We bought my wife a JL. Identical to yours in every way down to the color. It's got 4300 miles on it now and have had it in 3 times for 3 different issues now. At 400 miles the check engine light came on due to a fault with the evaporator unit they had to keep it for a week. At 2k miles the e-torque unit completely stopped working and left us stranded in the middle of an intersection, Now they have it again because auto start causes the check engine light to come on and the vehicle stalls out at low speeds. In addition to the major mechanical issues there are small quality control things. Before we got the jeep home the 1st day the center console latch snapped off and we've been waiting on a replacement part for that since February. Her white paint has started to yellow and stain on like 4 different body panels, and her cylinder deactivation hasn't worked since the 2nd day we've had it and every time they fix it the issue returns (not a big deal since we hate it anyways). Jeeps just aren't what they used to be. I got a DT ram over the gladiator and I am glad for my decision every time I get in her Jeep.

The thinner air at the top of the mountain should result in a higher pressure differential between the inside of the tire and the outside -- so a higher effective tire pressure.

I was excited when the JLs came out, as they seemed to fix some of the things (mostly aesthetics and interior) I didn't like about the JKs. I figured I'd give it a year or two (I never buy new vehicles until after they've past two model years) for FCA to work the bugs out. For being one of FCA's most popular and important vehicles, you'd think they would have paid extra attention to the new JL Wranglers. I'm starting to think my money is better spent elsewhere at this rate...
@ChanceandChoice5 жыл бұрын
The JL has a more refined ride quality than a JK on the street. The pentastar engine is doing how you would expect from the JKs, it's the new 4 cylinder turbo with e torque engine that's giving them issues. Just like any new engine, there will be kinks to work out for years. If you want a JL I would advise people to stick to the pentastar to lower risk with new car engine issues.
