Your rebuild makes me think of my Mom's Camaro. A while back she sideswiped a truck and the passenger door got messed up pretty bad. AAA sent her to a shop to get it replaced and the insurance had the shop sourcing a brand new door which means it would have to be fabricated. The cost would've been huge as well as her deductible. Then me, her super intelligent and inquisitive son, lol, starting looking on eBay for 2010 Camaro doors. There are a ton of them on there. I found what she needed for a few hundred as opposed to thousands of dollars. She got ahold of AAA, they got ahold of the shop and now one side of the Camaro looks brand new for a lot less. Thankyou, thankyou, no applause necessary, lol again.

In a strange way I have a greater appreciation for my Toyota car & pickup. My parts are cheap. It's easy to do maintenance. And they've been reliable. Congrats to you. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride. Some of your best content IMHO. The heart & soul of the car is the engine. I still recommend Pennzoil Ultra Platinum oil. It's cheap and the best for the $$. I'm looking at 5 quart 5W-30 for $30 @ Walmart.

Congratulations! When you finally button up the project just remember to fully understand the power & capabilities of the McLaren before you decide to push the envelope. Take a look at MONDI's 1st outing with his newly acquired 1 of 1 SENNA. His show boating caused him some extremely expensive problems. Do your all your testing in a very large vacant parking lot with no obstructions. Be safe...have fun...remember all of the work that you put into the project...& don't be stupid!

I haven’t even finished watching your video, but you should’ve turned around and put it in the garage as soon as it went back in the limp mode it isn’t a $5000 car. One little thing can cost you an engine. especially if your gauges aren’t working and you can’t go into your screen. You need to have your diagnostic tool hooked up to it when you drive it monitor engine oil, pressure coolant temp. Make sure your cooling fans are coming on and off. It’s all under live data stream. Watch some KZbin videos on how to watch live data while you’re driving it just to doublecheck that you don’t fry something. And yes, congratulations sorry to be such a hard A$$ just don’t want to see all your hard work go to waste and yes, I do know this video was probably recorded weeks ago so I hope you have it all back together and I’m driving it right now

Wow... I still have my first car and it's registered as non-op. I had to move it around my property and I was scared to even just let the back wheels touch asphalt because of liability. I really liked this project and I may be overly cautious but man you gotta be insanely careful.
