I have severe Adrenal Fatigue stage 4, I lost my job but at least I'm getting some rest. I want to add a few things. Detox from all over the counter medication such as painkillers, antihistamine and sleeping aids. Get your body to function as natural as possible. Don't take scheduled sleeping tablets, I know we battle sleep, but rather take Melatonin and Aswaghanda. Be cautious of caffeine, I know it's all we want, all the time! Do Intermittent Fasting every single day, it gives your body time to heal. Do light exercises like walking and yoga daily. Ground your feet, feel the grass on your feet. Get Vit D and amp up on Magnesium, Vit C and Potassium. Listen to calming music whenever you get a chance, lots on KZbin! Ps: Intermittent fasting will blast the belly fat, and that's where all the hormones are at. Once the hormones start regulating you will heal faster.

I love how he keeps saying MOMS! this is so overlooked, especially during the post-partum period when moms are on-demand to care for little human beings all day (and night) and they get so very little sleep... most times also working a job. *dead* this needs to be addressed in the medical field by doctors, it should be a training that pregnant moms get, how to care for herself - not coffee and then the cultural push to workout so hard right after baby.

I watch Dr. Axe all the time, so this was on the top of the list today & GOD gave me this today! Im a full time mom. I've always been a hard worker, worked multiple jobs, even when it wasn't about the money. But these last 3 years have been full of trauma and the stress has affected my health, my face broke out in rosacea, NOW I'm so tired every day. I'm craving & eating junk, putting on weight and by late afternoon I literally cry in the bathroom because I'm so exhausted I can hardly function! I'm asking God for help & He led me here! Finally, I have hope! Even though I don't have the energy to feel the joy of that hope, I know its there. God bless you!

Start with 400 mgs and increase every 2 days if your stools get loose don't increase anymore. That is the dose to stick with. You're body will let you know when to decrease in reverse . Dr. Lam suggest up to 1400 mgs for severe cases. Also potassium and sodium. Dr. Berry recommends KetoChow minerals. Vit C is also important.

If you need to add at the end, we welcome your comments, but let's hear from the guest first. He's prepared his talk well, please show respect and let him get to the topics as he's laid them out for his best coverage. No one wants to face this but caffeine is a big problem especially in woman. Caffeine causes increase of estrogen levels and causes Hypothyroidism and PCOS. Lets start being Honest and talk about our caffeine addiction! anything over 100mg can cause problems. People are consuming Wayyyy...more than that!:/
@DidiGrooves
@DidiGrooves 7 жыл бұрын
niqcole lombardo exactly! you forgot adrenal fatigue and the fact that pregnant women with high cortisol borrow their kids' adrenals while pregnant. So, the kids are born with adrenal fatigue. BTW, best resource for adrenal fatigue on the Internet is Dr. Berg and he talks about it almost daily. I agree that caffeine is underrated cause of many issues: it also sucks out water and nutrients out of the body and contributes to many conditions in this manner.
@niqcolelombardo3001
@niqcolelombardo3001 7 жыл бұрын
YES!! I watch Dr. Berg as well. So many people are having this problem. I'm watching alot of vloggers with this problem and they are doing their videos with the largest coffees that are at least 20ozs! Yet they are so tired and have anxiety!! Caffeine drops your blood sugar which in turns makes you crave sugar. Then the stimulant keeps you in the fight or flight state and then we are getting constant cortisol rushed into our systems!! So glad someone out there is realizing this! Hopefully if we pass along the word more people will start to listen. :-)
@DidiGrooves
@DidiGrooves 7 жыл бұрын
niqcole lombardo true that! I quit coffee 2 months ago next week. It has been such a nightmare, I never even knew I had adrenal fatigue until I quit coffee. Now I ordered Dr. Berg's adrenal support and after some 3 weeks on that plus the diet I've lost 8 lbs and feel much better. I see a lot of people being caffeinated as well, as I used to. This has been so nightmarish for me that I'll soon be vlogging about this topic, among others. It's been so bad that I'm barely functioning, not even to ramble in the Webcam coherently. Ha!

These are great ideas for folks to take into account in their own lives and for their own bodies. Another big thing that I did not see in this video was learning how to lower your overall stress. Changing what you are experiencing AND taking/ingesting any of these suggestions. If you don’t try to lower your stressors AND learn how to better handle stress in the future, you won’t be able to heal. You’ll be in a vicious cycle over and over again. I would know from personal experience. One step at a time.

I never feel like I can be awake not even after loads and loads of caffeine I feel like I could hibernate forever and still not get enough I’m so sick of it! I meditate twice daily, and am a very spiritual person but I do also believe that changing my diet drastically is the only solution for me right now

Coffee is a luxury but it can become very addictive. I fast twice a year, during Advent and during Ramadan by completely eliminating coffee (and now I started eliminating sugar) of my diet for those fasting months. Every time I experience a withdrawal syndromes - headaches, unhealthy cravings, moodiness... then after a week they disappear and I have no wish for coffee even after fasting. It is amazing how our bodies become addicted to coffee! I started replacing coffee with wheat coffee mixed with figs and other fruits. Not only it tastes almost like coffee, it is twice cheaper, bio and does not affect my sleep.

Once again you have to be rich to stay healthy. I have 100 dollars a month for food med and supliment. I know I know being sick is expensive too. But if you don't have it, you don't have it. I have to use pasta, rice or potatoes to extend what little meat I can get to have enough to eat. I am sure there are more people than you think that fall into that category. Would love to see videos on how a poor person canc do these suggestions. I do some bone broth though. Home made chicken soup is pretty cheap. Even using organic chicken
@peaceandlove544

Deb Baize I think you have to buy frozen vegetables in bulks, which are as good, potatoes in bulk, which are not expensive, you need carbs, make and froze chicken or bone broth, freeze any vegetable or fruit left over, almonds, nuts, amaranth, chia, are a high protein seeds. Start a small veggie and herb garden at home or with neighbors or family (turn ups, tomates, squach, zuchinni...), back yard, community or neighborhood garden. Look for cupons or discount days at your farmers or local market for organic chicken, fish and turkey. Oats are great food.

You don't have to have a lot of money to stay healthy. I actually have a video on two great super foods that are very cheap. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5TXqaePoZh-ptk. You don't need carbs although most vegetables have them. Starting a garden at home is great advice. If you eat whole food craving are a lot less so you won't eat as much. Making your own bone broth is great - glad you are doing that. Making your own chicken soup is great too. Try your best to buy free range organic chicken. The store chicken soups are full of MSG or some other neurotoxin. I am a holistic doctor like Dr. Axe. I have a few recipes on my page too.

Awesome info! Thank you Drs. When it comes to my health I have my senses wide open. I often hated when my dr. Says I am healthy but still feel fatigue. I drink my own kind of caffeine drink in the morning. I make a mix of hot coffee, mushroom OM master blend power, matcha powder, turmeric, pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt and sometimes a scoop of spirulina powder. I shake it all up and it’s a boost of energy! Then I drink about 8-16 oz of water. Then I make a hot lemon water with apple cider vinegar and whoa the energy will be insane and your vowel movements will be perfecto haha

Or try nutritional yeast: the cheapest natural vitamin B out there. Under 5 bucks and lasts for 10-14 days a cube. Young Living is a company that gives discounts and compensation to members for peddling their products, similar to Amway and Herbal Life. Not to say the products are bad, just pointing out to people who are unaware.

A standard paleo diet works wonders for adrenal fatigue. You want to be careful about going to low carb or ketogenic, this is a area where I disagree with Jordan. Whole food healthy carbohydrates actually lower cortisol levels, so eating things like fruits, plantains, sweet potatoes (especially purple sweet potatoes, they're loaded with antioxidants!), winter squashes, and root vegetables like parsnips are good for you. You don't want to go overboard mind you, carbs in any situation should never really exceed 40% of your total caloric intake. Ideally carbs should be around 25% to 35%. Likewise protein should never really drop bellow 20% of your total caloric intake, someone with adrenal fatigue may need to take protein to 30%. And whatever percentage is left should be filled with healthy fats (tallow, lard, schmaltz, ghee, raw butter, extra virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil). Personally keeping carbs around 25% to 30% will ensure most of your calories come from fat, which will make you fat adapted so you not only burn dietary fats for energy, but you burn body fat as well. Becoming fat adapted is the easiest way to combat obesity and likewise obesity related illnesses.
