This is absolutely me, like 100%. Fortunately I have a wonderful, securely attached husband, that has continuously been patient with me. Therapy has helped me understand why I do and say the things I do. I’m still a work in progress, but it’s getting better.

Have you ever cheated on him in any way?

@@thelambda5118 No. Never. I’m the opposite and despise cheating and feel it is the ultimate form of betrayal.

@@NicholeWhelpley-uj5nj I agree with you. However have you ever been tempted to? Some women who grew up with an emotionally unavailable mother tend to unconsciously recreate an environment where they are emotionally rejected because that’s what they are used to, by cheating for instance. And some are attracted to emotionally unavailable (i.e. toxic men) for the same reason, meaning they are uncomfortable with an emotionally available man, pressing them to cheat with a toxic one.

@@thelambda5118 Not tempted. My fear lies in thinking I’ll be cheated on and abandoned.

Nicely described! Everything except “oversharing”. I really dont like how sometimes being authentic is considered as oversharing. What if someone genuinely wants to share things with others and make bonds and connections? Maybe they should just connect with those that dont see it as oversharing..

Loving the #sagesessions; learned a lot from this video and looking forward to the next, reserving conclusions for the moment until you cover the other styles 🍀

These two attachment vids opened my eyes a bit. Self-loathingly, I always assumed that I was such a bad mate and terrible person that I drove partners away, when in fact it's blatantly obvious I chose to drive them away myself. But you've given me hope after 62 years on this planet :) thanks! Heck, I might even go out on a Friday!

What did you do to make them go away? And at the times it happened was it really 100% unconscious? Thanks

This is all true I was a premature baby she worried 😦 if we’d survive when my father 👨🏾 left my mom to raise two premature children so she had those worries if my father would be there for her she only to have 5 more children wondering 💭 how she would provide for all 7

The part about sex, I can advocate for myself outside the bedroom and say my boundaries, but if something comes up during sex that I didn’t mention, I can’t advocate for myself in the moment if I don’t like something or don’t want to do something. I was taught as a young girl into adulthood, “put up and shut up” when it comes to mens’ desires and mine don’t matter. Plus anxious avoidant attachment style doesn’t help. Any ideas as to helping this issue?

Have you looked into or researched brain inflammation in autism? I'm making so much headway by reducing that in my daughter through diet and supplements. The weirdest "improvement" is she does not struggle with gender issues anymore. She is on a diet with omega 3 supplements, seeds which I add to her muesli, AVR multivitamins, D3 and I try to do the full range of B vitamins, Q10 ... I don't see so much social anxiety and problems with being touched or hugged. I wonder if you see problems with flakey or almost like cradle-cap dandruff issues?
