Hey guys, you wanted me to do a review between the DJI Mavic 3T and the Matrice 30T here you go this is me testing them real life showing you the huge differences between the two drones. I recommend NOT buying the baby drone and just buying the good drone right away.

Have a 3T, found over 20 deer with it this year. Not as robust as the 30T but not everyone needs robust. The 30T is much louder and thus you need to be 350 feet up. The Mavic is quiet at 150 feet and that allows the 30 watt light to be plenty. The 30T can be flown in wet weather where the Mavic can not. With that being said, the Mavic is a solid workhorse, don't be fooled.

I wouldn't want to get in the habit of flying comfortably at 150 feet. Trees, terrain, powerlines, and birds are all more likely at that height, imo.

I own both and don’t let him fool you with the weather. The 30T can only fly in the rain during the day because the T60 is not weather rated or warranty for water damage. Mike his own biggest fan always has to try to be better than everyone else and that’s why he brings out the m300 with the HD thermal to show everybody with the 30T he is still better than they are. Dude probably films himself in the shower he is so full of himself

@@elimishieldhunt3775 Same. I fly about that height without any real trouble. I fly my m3T in light rain pretty regularly. Last year, I landed my M3T in my backyard and forgot to grab it for a week. In that week, we had about 3 inches of heavy, wind-driven rain. I took it apart a bit to let it dry out before trying to turn it on, and everything worked. I've got about 1,000 miles on it since then without any issues.

You really can't see shit with the 3t at night. If you want to do deer recovery, the 30t is the only one you want. If you go with the 3t, you'll be upgrading.

We show you how good the M3T is and how to work with or around its slight weaknesses. Yes, the M30T is better, naturally, and sometimes it's the only option depending on your location/climate and use case. But the M3T is no slouch by any stretch.

I have owned both drones for about 18 months. The biggest difference I try to explain to folks who ask is in night operations. The two drones are clearly a class apart. The M3T zoom camera can't compete with the camera on the M30T. Also, the M3T is affected more by the slightest breeze, making getting the light on target and holding it there challenging. I never use the M3T for night events. But I must add that when the conditions are optimal during daylight hours, the M3T is very capable and easier to carry around if you need to be mobile. When I read comments that the only difference between the two drones is weather resistance, I know that the commenter has most likely never flown the M30 series.

I have both but would never fly either in rain at all...The 30T isnt even double the the expectation of the 3T which is almost 2/3rds cheaper in price thought about reselling my matrice but know id never get what i paid for it so just settled for having a backup...its a no brainer to buy the 3T...

I'm a commerical pilot and don think you did a very fair comparison. Yes the Matrice is better but the 3t is great if outfitted properly. I don't do dear recovery but use to do herd and duck counts before I retired with US FWS... We have them both and find for what we do the 3t is good. If we can't do with the 3t we go to the Matrice. Both good but would to see a more comparable test. Can film each test exactly the same. Maybe put wetsuit on the 3t which really works well. Jist saying. Keep up the great content.

I own both of them and the 3t is definitely quieter and you can get down at the tree tops and see just about as good as the 30t but if you get the 30t down at the tree tops yes you are going to be able to see better because of the better light and better zoom camera but you definitely run the chance of running a deer off being down low with the noise of the 30t

Infomercial Mike really lived up to his name on this one.. first let me say I have owned both drones and have been doing Deer Recovery just as long as infomercial Mike. All this dramatic crap to sell a Drone. First, the thermal cameras are exactly the same. It’s all in the settings that he obviously does not have set the same. You hear him talk about baby Drone can’t fly in the rain, but what he doesn’t tell you is the M30T can only fly in the rain during the day because the light is not rated for rain so if it’s raining at night, he’s grounded too. Every comparison was not real life 380 feet is not realistic hardly ever. I use the Matrice and I love it. But the 3T is very capable of getting the job done what he doesn’t compare is the price you can buy 2 M3T for the price of 1 matrice. So don’t fall for this salesman bull crap comparison, and spend all your money because infomercial calls it a baby Drone .. remember he was charging people with a Mavic air thermal at one point. But now he’s making fun of people charging for the same thermal camera he’s using now. So comical.

This is not real life situations. This is you screaming all around the place. Why don't you put the Mini beside the two, and get even more excited... The 3T actually made it way and above its specs. It's not designed to handle what you exposed it to, but still yet, it did real good. Yeah, right. It wasn't able to support a Tesla. Like this is even something any drone supposed to be able to take. Oh.. and you "forgot" to test the cost/performance ratio. Given how treat your drones, that's no surprise.

Bro you are exactly right, they do not compare when you are trying to spotlight animals with a Mavic 3T at the altitude 400 or better you have to fly the Matrice 30T to keep from spooking the animals you are attempting to track. I have both. The Mavic 3T is much easier and user friendly. The Mavic is MUCH quieter and can be flown 150’ overhead without spoiling animals. The Matrice is extremely loud and has to be flown much higher to keep from spooking everything. Another much better user friendly option the Mavic 3T has is a progressive zoom. Were the Matrice 30T clicks from 5X to 10X to 20 times and so on . This is skipping far too many Increments. The Mavic zooms progressively in small increments. I have both. Outside of bad weather the Mavic is a much better option for tracking wounded animals .

Yeah, the M30 should be a way better drone , but not everybody has the money like you do so some people just have to settle for less but what the Mavic 3 thermal brings is a very good bang for your buck. Yeah sure it’s not quite as good but what do you expect?

Its literally the same thermal sensor on both drones. Thermal is most of what you're using anyway. The M3T makes more sense for deer recovery because you can get down closer without scaring the deer off. Its rather interesting that he didn't factor in the cost or test the drones for how much noise they make.

Oh, wow. A product in completely different tier, for 50% of the cost, has a difference in results. Who could have guessed? Always been curious of how a Miata stacks up to a 911. Guess we'll never know which is better until someone spoon feeds me that info in video form. Point is, we'll, I'm not really sure of the point. Comparing 2 entirely different classes of drone, which have different costs and use cases. What's the take away supposed to be here? Different things are different, and better things are better? The 3T/E are a bridge between consumer and professional level drones. The M30 and especially M300 are end game tier, professional enterprise drones. To me, unless you explicitly REQUIRE the advanced capabilities of the m30, and will regularly use them, the better business decision seems like it could be to buy 2 3T drones, and maybe charge a bit less, but cover twice as many jobs, if you only have say, a 12k budget. Also, I'm curious why the 3T was shown being crushed by the car in real time, but the M30 was put of frame, and only shown with the car raised up on it in a still image?

Yeah, who would have thought that a drone that costs twice as much is marginally better in fringe scenarios. Most small businesses go under. If you're starting any sort of drone-related business, save you money and buy a M3T. If things go well for a year or two, then go for the drone that costs twice as much. If they really go well, then you'll go back to the M3T because you'll be buying them for all your crews.
