Hello from our family farm in Central ⛵ Lakes Region New Hampshire. I have one of Dr. Li's books. It has helped me, specifically because I had gallbladder removal surgery a year ago under dire circumstances. Seventeen days in hospital, with stones stuck in my bile duct, a blood infection, acute pancreatitis and hepatitis. A challenging time that left me with no appetite and three more surgeries into 2024. Gentleman, my system did NOT want to eat anything. Yes your pod casts are enlightening, but also a big shout out to New London Hospital in New London, NH. They did a amazing job of pulling me though both medically and spititually. My attending Physician. Dr.Stephan Bissah visited me daily, praying with me and giving me couragement, along with excellent care. Upon discharge, I was closely monitored and given visiting nurses, PT/OT. I was referred to the hospital dietitian who custom taylored my diet to one very similar to the foods found in Dr. Li's books. Very strict, but doable. I am finally eating well again and looking forward to having a wonderful Christmas this year! My gastro/int. surgeon is still monitoring my liver and pancreas. Liver enzymes are starting to go down. I'm more or less eating for my pancreas, if you have any food suggestions on that subject, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for all the work you both put into achieving good health. ~ Diane

Whenever I plant a vegetable, nocturnal animals feast on it, and there’s nothing edible for me.

Thanks Dr Li. Enjoyed your chat with Dr Hyman. Many years ago I was in Spain and would eat at a seaside restaurant. Fresh catch of the day cooked to perfection with delicious sauces and fresh salads. Great memories

I do love all of this information however instead of traveling to the Mediterranean travel to the south side of Chicago or the west side and really give food health knowledge to cultures in America that have a proverty health mind set. This new energy for food knowledge and growth should be beneficial to more people.

I love to cook and create new dishes after going to European countries I like. Simple, fresh, and organic foods like fresh. mushrooms , tomatoes, etc. in salads, fresh veggies with no pesticides, and use only eggs from free range or pasture raised hens.

Dr Hyman…I know many Keto/Carnivore Drs. that do podcasts…don’t specifically list caloric intake w their programs - however- I was wondering just as a general rule is their a minimum caloric intake per day if one is trying to lose weight..& live better on a daily lifestyle change??..thanks

What do you think of the youtube video "Back to Eden" and covering your garden with wood chips ( 8-12" deep)...This amends the soil and never needs watering...great crops...

Why don't you both jump on a plane with video gear and go to the places you talk about and show us first hand these techniques in growing and preparing these delicious healthy foods. Just talking about is not enough. We need to see first hand in order to make significant lifestyle changes!! Show us those blue zones in person. Jerry
