About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.

Heidi gets an A+ for her awesome sense of humor. As a man I can’t say I know how it feels. But from an outside perspective and father I know it can be a difficult and brutal process. Not just physically but mentally. I love that you two have found the humor aspects of it! Sharing that is probably more helpful than you know. I can’t imagine it being easy for pregnant women to see in the moment but maybe just a friendly reminder that there are some funny things to experience along the way. Your relationship and humor you both have is wonderful and I hope you keep doing family type humor! It’s always part of my day and a reminder to laugh at myself too. Great video and content as always! Please get Heidi to do more dad or guy stuff! I love seeing how women see what we do daily. It always cracks me up when you land on things I do. I didn’t know how ridiculous some of it was until you both started doing these videos. The wait, I do that moments are completely hysterical! Off the top of my head I can’t really think of much except things like once, to show my wife I cared and supported her new Hobby. I decided to build a spot for her in the garage to work and store her equipment I bought her as a surprise. I wanted her to have everything she might need. I think I spent about $500 just on her tools and case. It was some type of decorative thing. Special shaped scissors (so many) all sorts of things to make hand crafted things. Anyways, so I went into the garage and realized I needed to clean it real good. Make her a work table and add shelves. It was suppose to take a day maybe two. Long story short. It lead me to cleaning, painting the entire garage. Making and installing shelves, reorganizing the entire garage, making her work table, shelf’s etc.... it took over a week to finally get done. One thing just rolled into another and before I knew it I had basically renovated the ENTIRE garage. Paint, new storage, new storage containers labeled as well, shelves everything. I ended up spending over a thousand dollars. To be honest I didn’t think I was much of a tool person before but the project got away from me before I knew what happened. She was happy with the results but I drove her crazy during the process 🤦‍♂️🤣.

It's true! My babies used to use my bladder like a trampoline!! And if your bladder happens to be full or even a little full when you sneeze...watch out...the pee is coming.

I've had 2 c sections one emergency. My tummy makes me ashamed to go out in public my body is a nightmare,now I've broken some things and there's no win in this tummy now.I don't regret it because I love my girls they are my life

The big thing to remember is to love yourself for who you are. People may look at you, but most will not comment and the few who will be rude aren't to be listened to anyway. There's no shame in C-section scars. You are beautiful.

Okay… the pregnant lady shuffle was WAY too accurate! 😂 When baby’s head gets wedged down between your hips, and your ligaments get looser, it can get super painful to do normal strides, so you have to do this weird little shuffle walk to minimize the aching and stuff. And, yes, I make ALL the noises when I have to stand up after sitting for any length of time.😅

Guys don't understand fully how little things like range of motion limitations with a baby on your bladder. I got stuck in the tub while my ex was out of town, I had to pound on the wall and scream till the gal next door came to check on me.

For me, it's not even the bladder. My pelvic muscles and ligaments are so sore that I can barely lift my feet enough to put shoes on. I wouldn't pee, but lifting my legs like that would hurt!

So, my parents would make us go outside and play! They always made sure that we had plenty to do! And I live in Broken Arrow, a suburb of Tulsa, and you could have taken them to Tulsa to the Air and Space Museum, the trampoline park, The Gathering Place, The Zoo, and the Ice Rink! That would have lasted you guys a week easily and wouldn't have been expensive, lol!

That was hilarious. FYI, babies don't always hit and kick bladders. I carried my one and only to term, (one day over technically), he was good weight and I only gained like 6 or seven lbs that wasn't baby so I started off thin. *Mentioned bc the thinner the person, the less material to block the bladder I'd reason. Point being, I never peed myself during or after, never felt I had to pee during a kick etc. Maybe I have a super uterus but chances are people just have different organ positioning and what's true for one is not necessarily true for another. I also did, do, have always done Kiegela daily, perhaps that had a good impact. God knows I've never once exercised. Lol
