Never heard of it and I live in Florida where they are mdf. This bike in the moto version which is 14kw and has 19" wheels is $8300. A bit more than the sur ron. It comes with a 48v 30ah battery. One other thing is that it's only rated to carry 220 lbs. so if you're 240 like me, it would have to be up graded even at $8300. A little more than I want to spend. I could build a hell of a bike for that kind of money. Good video.

14Kw at 48 V = 291 Amps a 20Ah battery will last at best 4minutes (but in reality it won't be able to deliver this current due to internal and wiring resistance) in 4 mins at this level it will then be completely flat. The motor spec listed on the website for these is actually 8Kw (not 14) so at max power of 8Kw which is 166Amps it will actually last 7mins !

Looks a little weird but so does my Honda electric conversion, it moves good plus the frame looks solid and with a stronger battery and tune or upgrade the controller it probably can handle 20kw.

Thanks for posting up that followup video. The bike looks great in your video. For some reason, they look really dumb in the pictures on the company web site. Pretty expensive, but if someone buys a surron and upgrades it up to the performance you are seeing, then they might have spent the same amount or more. I wonder if an easy to install hub motor and a good controller could get a DIY rider to near that performance.

I looked on their web site to try to find more specs, battery is 22ah but no mention of voltage, where does it state 48v? That's barely 1kwh if true which really isn't very much, That thing does well though. Watch out for plod, they like to hate on these things. Staying under the radar still with my builds and keeping pedals, plus looks now and then but soon as I move my feet they lose interest lol.
