Thanks for the review! I’ll take an A- I really do need to get back into auditing, just been busy with life. I started before it became a thing and not with the intention to make a ton of videos. When I first wanted to get A firearm, I wanted to look up all of the laws and also how to interact with the lease when I have one. Watching all of the police interactions online mostly being negative, made me really upset to see people having their rights violated and that pushed me to try to point out any wrongdoing. I was just like a normal citizen not knowing the wide range of abuse of power, unprofessionalism, malice, and ignorance of the police. I really respect your channel and your work and think it is a helpful addition to the auditing scene.

Woohoo! I spent the rest of my morning seeing if I could find where you'd gotten to (& maybe impress AtA 😆). I followed you to FB as KIP, then GA. Cop Watch and then was trying to see if there was an "Ashton" contributing to Police the Police and then I got sidetracked (SQUIRREL!). I decided to come here and report what I DID find and TAADAA! You're here! I have been watching these for YEARS and I only have 2 favourite auditors left (NNH and Accountability Media) and while not an auditor on the street, AtA is the bar for excellence. You sir would be on my list. 💜 And what a lovely thing to witness your mutual admiration for each other. This is the best thing I've seen on the internet all week. Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season to both of you 💕

Are you an american narator??? You said at 7:20 that "no exercise of rights is worth risking your life for" ahh this is why America exists. Exercising our right to not taxation without representation. We have risked our lives for our rights. It is the american culture! Yes I understand one should not be foolish but the statement is just not consistent with American history. What if a woman is being rapped by a cop. She should not exercise her RIGHT of self defense and just submit to the rape???

The encounters that frauditors have with the police has very little to do with ego of the police officers. If frauditors had their way the police would never be able to enforce the law. That's kind of the point of frauditors, they want to disrupt police departments and lessen their effectiveness, this makes them kind of like domestic terrorists. None the less, the "check your ego" class sounds like a great idea.

Finally. Someone gets it. If you have critical thinking skills you can take apart irrational behavior. But I'm not here to bash officers exclusively, as I assume most are. I'm here to say use those skills on everyone and everything. I've had over 1,000 negative interactions with cops. 98% of the time the problem is they won't do anything about someone who is a threat to the security of decent people. The overzealous cops are a problem in every society. If you have critical thinking skills, you realize that the ones who refuse to arrest people assaulting Andy Ngo, are just as big of a problem.

When he handed it back he told me my insurance wasn’t active. I was super confused bc I was on my moms plan still and she is very organized with bills. I looked at the card and realized he must’ve read the start date as the expiration date. I simply said to him just that and he was instantly pissed. He isn't saying exercising your 2nd is not worth it, he is saying he should have announced it to the police, because it is safer that way. Police are humans believe it or not, and notice the obvious shine from the gun when the cop is looking in the car? All it takes is a cop being caught off guard, seeing that gun, seeing your hand in it's area and assuming you are a threat (this is how they stay alive through a 30 year career) and you could end up leaving that stop with a few more holes then you started it with.

My state doesn't require it by law but if I'm armed in a terry stop the first thing I tell them is that I have a firearm, where it is, and if they want to secure it before we proceed. It is just safe, and it can avoid a confusion where it's possible[unlikely] someone gets shot. In my experience, granted I'm a white guy, they either secure it, give me a ticket and it's done. Glen Waldrop what makes it "legal"? "They didn't bother to try to see if he was drunk", that's what makes it against policy, law, and the constitution. The reason it's allowed is for drunk driving but clearly they don't do that, it's a "show me papers check" and profit scheme . It has been ruled the cops may do this but noted it's "a minor violation of the 4th amendment" aka it violates the constitution but they will let them do it anyway. Also they rarely, if ever have the proper signage etc needed for it to be up to policy and law.

When I worked as a LEO there were a lot of times I could tell they were illegal from being behind them at stop light/sign because they were clearly slick w no tread whatsoever and there were some that had huge blister bubbles as I call them on the side walls as large as softballs and some had holes in which the steel wire could be seen. So there are occasions where one could tell by sight alone. Not here mind you but there are occasions.

A few years back I was headed home from work and noticed a dui check point about a mile up the road. I legally turned down a different street to avoid the long line of cars because just wanted to get home. A motorcycle cop pulled me over for a taillight being out. I was younger and unaware of the rules and laws so I went along with his stop. Later that night I got home and checked my taillights and brake lights, they all worked fine. It's sad that any officer will lie and come up with any reason to get what they want. It's ashamed that it isn't illegal for an officer to make up things, lie and deceive.

A similar thing happened to me. I was about 18 or 19 and I was lost. I was sitting in the left turn lane at a light, but I was pretty sure I needed to go straight. My plan was to just go straight anyway when the light turned because there was very little traffic and no one beside me. A cop pulled up across the intersection though. We just happened to make eye contact and I know that I showed fear because I was planning on doing something that may or may not be legal. I ended up just making the left turn and then turning around at the first opportunity. That cop ended up turning around and following me, including making the same u-turn I did. It took him forever but he eventually pulled me over. He said I "crossed the fog line". This was both a lie and not illegal. I was still lost, so I asked for directions and he did not help me. I've tried asking cops for directions twice and neither time did they make even the smallest effort to help. You would think people that are supposed to patrol areas would naturally be able to give you directions in those areas.

That is the reality when you understand just how corrupted our government systems have become. I am currently using a case in the 9th Circuit to challenge the court created doctrine (not in any Constitution or law) of "absolute immunity" for judges, prosecutors and lawyers that are litigating a case. The courts are using this doctrine to protect criminal acts (e.g. Slander, Malicious prosecution, Violation of rights under color of law, etc. ad naseum) This is beyond the "qualified immunity" the officers in the other branches of government have been given. Where there is no check on the judicial branch it has invalidated itself as a Constitutionally created branch of the government. I have reminded the court: "You are not gods above the rest of us. The only absolute for us mortals is death."

I like that he stayed calm and measured in his responses. Most of these auditors ramp up the aggression to 10 the moment an officer approaches, trying to be dicks to force a mistake from the officer, or put on a show of force for the camera. It's one thing to stand firm on your rights, it's quite another to be an arrogant prick about it. This guy did it right. Bravo.

This is about as scary as it gets. You're driving down a dark road at night and a couple of good ole boys stop you with the intent of looking for any reason to ruin your life. I've had first hand experience with this. Be VERY careful when driving around small towns, especially in the south.

I was pulled over for a taillight out in GA once. Simple traffic stop right? I had all the right identification and I was not drinking. The officer said he smelled pot. (I have never smoked pot in my life) He asked if he could search my car. HUGE MISTAKE! I was just a 22 year old kid and didn't know any better. I said sure, I have nothing to hide. He searched the car and found (or so he said) seeds in the backseat. I flat out told him that any "seeds" he may have found were from the previous owner of the vehicle and he could drug test me if that was what it would take. I wasn't arrested because there was no reason to arrest me. However, I should have just given the police officer my license and registration and denied him everything else. That Georgia cop took advantage of my ignorance. He blatantly tried to get me to admit to a crime I did not commit. He KNEW that he had no right to search my vehicle unless I gave him permission. He used his badge as intimidation and he got away with it. Shout out to the Police who "serve" and "protect" Gwinnett County. You are not respected!
