Woot that is insane, I'm just uploading my pictures of 1 hour ago of a spider holding her eggball and was waiting for it to finish so I can work on the stacks... while waiting youtube gives me a pop up of this video. Seeing a spider holding her eggball in the thumbnail. Had to start watching!

Search for an archery backpack that turns into a chair. It may help in those times. 🙂

Advise needed. Just starting out. Got a lend of a sigma 105. But what is the best to start off with. I shoot somy and torn between the Sony 90 or the Loawa 100.

Hi Jamie thanks for the video is it the same Cygnatech diffuser on this set up?
@JamieSpensley4 ай бұрын
It is a slightly bigger one made to fit the om1 mk2 and 90mm

Lovely images and what a great location! The spider looks like a Enoplognatha ovata. I have lighter setup with the om5 + the 60mm. And cannot be steady for stacking somehow. Every time I am amazed by it when I see it.

Thanks! Just to clarify, I am just doing focus bracketing out in the field. Then I focus stack using Zerene Stacker on my PC. If you are using in body focus stacking then it usually requires you to be much more still (if that's what you are using)
@ronaldbuitendijkfotografie4 ай бұрын
@@JamieSpensley sorry, i was not very clear! Yes, i would use the bracketing too and stack in Helicon. Sometimes I just do a manual bracket and try to stack. I am happy I really enjoy single shots 🤣

Congratulations for your videos, I haven't yet understood whether you do focus stacking automatically or manually. Thank you

For people that don't use OM these videos are... interesting. I used to look at reddit etc and see these incredible stacked images and think wow, but when you see it in action there's really not much to it?! I just bought a laowa 100mm, using it on my dslr that has no ibis, no stacking software. I've jumped into macro and feeling it's wrath and saying "oh its very hard" lol. When really it's how much you spend that varies the difficulty...

the different burnet moths have a different numbers of red spots on their wings. And I'd recommend wearing knee pads that tile workers use, especially for your bony knees. 😆
@JamieSpensley4 ай бұрын
Yeah might have to. Don't think my bony knees can take it much longer 😂

Can you hear a 73 year old photographer laugh when you say, Oh my legs? 😊

Cracking images again. I can't hold my OM1.2 + 90mm f3.5, FL700WR and KR90 diffuser still enough to use focus stacking out in the field, so I mainly use single frame. I find my monopod and tripods too much of a faff to take out with me. I mainly focus stack in my garden studio with my tripods.

Thanks! If you are using in camera focus stacking, it might be a good idea to try out focus stacking using software like Zerene Stacker and Helicon Focus
