this stuff is awesome , coaxial cables are great to build jump ropes, they are thicker and heavier than a regular plastic rope it means that it will provide more resistance.

I made almost the exact same as this. I used plastic coated clothes line. I also had a problem with the clothes line rubbing again the handles. I took the skipping rope apart and put a water bottle cap on (with a hole cut in the cap) on the end of the handles. Thanks for posting this. I will try your method later.
