Here is a simple and easy Qigong warm up routine that you can do before qi gong, tai chi, meditation, any internal martial arts or chi kung practice. The purpose is to gently move the qi, or energy, the blood, and start to loosen the tension that is in the muscles and joints.

Remember that this is a warm up, so you don't need to push your body.

Well I guess it is a year or more that I have been starting my day with Jeff's wonderful period I had a lapse and then got into them again and am so pleased I did Wonderful exercise programs, lots of them, delightfully narrated by the Boss :) AND the setting outdoors WONDERFUL. JEFF AND THE TEAM thank you so much, all of you, this is a wonderful, easy and comprenhsive Qi Gong resource Bravo (sorry to shout) Tim in England :)

I used to do this warm up before my tai chi classes, and it’s a very easy routine to do first thing in the morning. Thanks for another great video!

This is such a good warmup! I’ve seen a big improvement in the stretch I get during other routines after warming up like this.

Pro tip: you can watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

Nice warmup! 🙌 Would be nice maybe to include "the ready position" at the start, like more than a quick mention, I felt like I got 1 second to get into it 😬😂 I do know the pose but the process is not that quick for me...🙈

Nice warm-up movements, Jeffrey. I've been doing qigong for 6 years. FYI, I had to do these same movements slower, being of a certain age. Your videos are wonderful.

The strength, flexibility, balance and grace of movement from doing qigong make everything I do easier, and life is so much more fun when one can move well! I am finding your videos are simple to follow, yet powerful. I like you focus on a certain "issue," like anxiety or lower back trouble, but the set of movements always further general wellbeing. "Value added!" Again, thanks so much, Jeffrey, for your teachings on KZbin.
