Quand vous dites: " A child could do it" c'est vrai. I'm from Quebec and I have to tell you that the only channel I subscribe to on KZbin is yours. You are my discovery of last year. During this plandemic, you brought me several moments of happiness. My wife who is Ukrainian adores you. You made me pass for a great Chef in the eyes of my wife. When you say: "A child could do it" it's true. I have made several of your recipes and each time it was a hit. The little details you explain make all the difference in success and we understand why. You are an excellent teacher. You passed on your passion for cooking to me. Keep up the good work and above all keep your sense of humor which makes you exceptional

Stir fry dishes are the absolute best, anyone can learn to put one together in 15 minutes! I'll try halving shrimp in a similar manner. Besides texture, looks like a good way to "double" the amount of shrimp without spending more money. Also, thank you for repeatedly sacrificing yourself with third degree burns for us, it's appreciated!

I've made chefs garlic shrimp pasta before. I halved the shrimp, it cooked up quickly, twisted up and yes, it does have a kind of lobster quality to it.

Hi Chef! I can't begin to tell you how many times I have grabbed something too hot in the kitchen over the years. As my grandfather used to say, "it doesn't take me long to look at a horse shoe!" You have the most authentic cooking channel on KZbin and my favorite!
@rogersharp71042 жыл бұрын
Just cooked this dish for lunch - excellent! Quick and easy as promised, and so tasty! Your tips really add enormously to the quality of the end result - like slicing the shrimps lengthwise to curl them which makes them beautiful and have a firmer texture. Also reserving a few chunks of tomato to add near the end provides distinct flavour. CJP - you are now a family hero!

Chef JP, things have improved over the years like electric appliances, pot, knives ... but Cooking skills still based on old school skills and acknowledge. You are the only chef on tv that demonstrates such issues in a Raw manner on television history. For example, you walk around yr kitchen looking for your tools, forget putting salt and pepper, making small mistakes ...! You are so original!! I have learned so much from you and You are the only chef mentioning small gestures in cooking need to be aware and the kitchen utensils like using which pots and pans !!! Thank you so much !!!!!

Fantastic dish JP! I still have never seen anyone prep those shrimp the way you do. It really does make a huge difference when they are split in half. Tomato cocasse is really a staple. The concasse flavors the dish without adding a lot of additional liquid and adds a bit of sweetness. You have some really great comments here on this dish. So simple yet elegant. That should be your new monicker.
