Simple & excellent recipe! This is the 3rd recipe I've tried for broccoli & it's been the best result so far.

I made the broccolini using your technique and I really loved it. It's my first time eating this, it has a more delicate flavor than broccoli.

I'm trying to impress a girl so I'm going to make this with some sesame seed crusted yellow fin tuna. I'm not sure how it will go together, so I bought an extra fillet to test out before she comes over haha

Sounds amazing! Good luck!! Here’s a seared tuna recipe in case this might help swoon the lady 😄tastefullygrace.com/seared-tuna-avocado-boats/

@@TastefullyGrace It's throwing me off a little bit how pink the center stays haha. If I can't figure it out I might just get a fillet or a ribeye and brown butter baste it. I've done that several times before already

@@jons2cool1 if you know how to make a mean steak, do that! The key to the tuna is to keep checking it to make sure you don’t overdo it (pull it apart a bit with 2 forks). But honestly steak and broccolini is an even better match in my opinion!

@@TastefullyGrace what would be a good side to have with this tuna? I just made it and wow the sesame seeds make it soo good

@@jons2cool1 so happy to hear! I’d either do those Tuna Avocado Boats I mentioned, or look up Bok Choy on my site and Thai Peanut Sauce. I’d serve with sticky rice too 🙌🏼

Tried broccolini just like the recipe says! Yuuuuchhh! It definitely isn't for everyone. I found it bitter, and left a terrible aftertaste. You wanna try it, good luck!

I’m so sorry you didn’t like the recipe!! Perhaps it was a bad batch of broccolini? I hope! Typically broccolini is a bit sweet, never bitter! Let me know if you try again…it might be worth it!

Note: The stems of broccoli and broccolini contain even more cancer fighting sulforaphanes than the tops, so I would only cut off maybe the last 1/2” of the stems. You can research this fact. You’re wasting a lot of healthy benefits when you cut off most of the stems.
