Sir i have update my window 10 to version 21h2 and while installing it my laptop is charging with 2% battery. And some how electricity cut off. After that when i Power on my laptop it showed it repairing it. But after that i am not able to download or install 21h2 version . Some it stuck on 0% download or some time it showing up installing 7% at the place of downloading and time completely download but when i click on re-start for install nothing happened and it began from where i start

THANKS! Clearing the Software Distribution fixed my stuck at 0%. You are the only one who showed how to save the contents of the Software Distribution folder after stopping the software updates, in case things went south. i did and watch all tutorials about that...nothing resolved the problème...but all you have to do its to upgrade your android phone to the last version ...it will upgrade your wifi connexion driver, cause Win update require a stable and fast connexion ...share to your pc done😉🙃... i used pixel 6... windows update need a stable connexion...

unable to delete or rename te Software Dist folder. It says folder or file is still open but I've looked everywhere. I have closed everything I can in Task manager, closed all windows update services. Problem started after updating from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. From that point it will not do updates. When I open the Updates windows it shows a bunch of updates trying to download and all of them sit at 0% and never move. I have run troubleshooter and SFC scannow, etc.

SOLVED! If you're like me & your battery is completely dead so you just keep it plugged in all the time instead of buying a new battery: just take the battery out. That's all it took to start the download 😅

@adhish soni found it in early comment stop windows update service then try if it doesn't work. Also disconnect ur network/airplaine mode restart and try again. Then restart update service after (once it's active new filled will be created for the directory). Still haven't fix my update.
