Caffeine is what makes my anxiety spirals big time. I had to cut out coffee. Eating mindfulness also helps, there's a mindfulness book I like called "30 Days to Stop Overeating" by Harper Daniels that taught me meditation exercises.

Yes, caffeine can certainly do that. I am able to have a cup of coffee in the morning, but not any later than noon. 😊

No matter how healthy i eat while working on my six packs and the rest of my muscles, i still get anxiety what so ever unfortunately.

We all seem to have our own experience with anxiety. When mine shows up, I treat it as “my normal”.

What a wonderful video! You mention that it is unwise to take tryptophan supplements in combination with antidepressants, but if you get it from food it's ok right? I eat pumpkin seeds daily, also to increase my magnesium levels (i also take magnesium l-threonate and magnesium bisglycinate, each once per day), so the tryptophan in pumpkin seeds is absorbed differently compared to that in supplements?

Yes, that is what I understood from the research. I imagine most people would not react to tryptophan supplements, but I wanted to include the possible side effect with antidepressants for those that might have that sensitivity to serotonin syndrome.

:) bad foods definitely trigger undealt with old trauma , the new inflammation poking at old trauma in the same places in the brain. my theory.

Inflammation certainly impacts our physical and mental health. How inflammation triggers past trauma, I do not know. But, there is so much we don’t understand about trauma, inflammation and the brain.

This is such a good video because our country is very sick. People are fed but they're starving in nutrition. I'm a vegetarian because I don't want the heaviness of the animal spirit as it was slaughtered. I feel an emotional pain and a sadness when I eat meat. P.s. do you have a mailing address for fans of your KZbin channel?

Hi Patricia. I am in full support of being vegetarian and there are very healthy ways to get protein as a vegetarian. My husband and I are trying to eat more vegetarian meals to support our health and the planet and maybe some day we will be 100% vegetarian like you. Unfortunately I do not have a P.O. Box. You are the first to ask. So, thank you for that. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. If I do get one, I will let you know. 🙏❤️

Nicotine does increase anxiety. Although, the physical act of smoking or vaping may feel like a relaxing behavior, the nicotine and other chemicals can have a negative impact.😢

Is it true that dairy products are bad for mood ?? I did some googling on this issue but I didn't get straight answers

That did not come out as a major finding in the available research. However, some people are allergic or sensitive to certain foods and that sensitivity may have an impact on their mood. More research is certainly needed.

It is amazing how much research has been completed about diet and anxiety. We can now say without doubt that our nutrition has a direct impact on our mental health.
