The one thing l do know about it is that your teachers don't get paid enough for what they do and have to put up with. Your comment reminds me of a story I heard from someone who used to be own a funeral home. He said one very devout Christian family wanted to stay overnight with their deceased relative because they were convinced she would come back to life because she was so good, God would want to bring her back. I doubt that even the Bible claims that ever happens. In fact, I thought the Bible claims that Heaven is supposed to be a beautiful reward which is supposedly better than life on earth. So if there were a God, sending someone back to life would be more like a punishment. They always tell us that when people go to Heaven, they are supposedly beyond pain, sadness, hunger, and hate. And if God wanted to keep good people on earth to continue to do good, why would he allow them to die in the first place? It's truly amazing to me that theists not only insist on taking parts of their Bible literally, and intentionally misinterpreting other parts that would be too horrific otherwise, but here they are intentionally making up stuff to believe in that isn't even in the Bible. Unless they think everyone is like Lazarus.
