I put a truetrac in the back on my 99 blazer. I love it. It's been a real upgrade over the stock g80.

Yeah the stock g80 takes forever to lock in and they always break lol. And I hate after like 20mph they auto unlock no matter what

Id definitely recommend. I've had it on snowy roads and it spins both rears all the time when it's slick which is super nice

@jessesimpson777 yeah im happy with it. We've only had one snow all winter but it was -6 that weekend so I didn't wanna freeze to try and make a video on it haha. Hopefully we for snow again so I can try to make some kind of a test and review video on it.

That looks like an awesome upgrade! Especially at half price on marketplace. That type of bearing wear is called spalling. It is caused by either too tight of pre-load or overloading. Did you end up checking the contact pattern and endplay? I have only built a handful of differentials but I know endplay and contact patterns are important for the long term. I'm not looking forward to the snow coming but I'm looking forward to a snow wheeling video! Haha.

did you go with a 26 or 28 spline Eaton? I have a Luv truck with V8 swap and S10 rear, but not sure how to find out the model year of the S10 rear. With the 10 bolt 7.5 , I am seeing both 26 and 28 spline. Excellent video!

More than sure it was the 28 spline. But if your unsure pull an axle out and count the splines on it to be sure

So Do both tires spin(push the truck) all the time when you take off at normal acceleration or only when punching it?

Both all the time. And I've power breaked it and it spins both every time. If you'd like I'll upload a short video of a couple quick tests showing it always spinning both. I love the diff its awesome I like that you don't have to wait for it to lock.

@@SethsBudgetBuilds thank you for your reply, reason I asked was because on a couple of different videos the persons say it’s basically an open diff and not limited slip until you need it, some guy even said when you raise up the vehicle one wheel goes forward and the other backwards like an open diff. A video would be great thank you

@mrMACKism nah you can see in this video with it lifted in the air they both are spinning forward. I'll make a video of it tomorrow. I may just to a normal video of it and I'll try do different situations to show how it works.

Did the c clips come with yours ?

No I don't think it's supposed to come with them new to begin with I used the originals they fit perfectly fine
