Yes it will. The cassava has been fried before turned into grain/flour. It is just like quick oatmeal.

We don't have gari in SA, so you can use maize flour or go to Nigerian shop to buy gari and come back to watch the video again. My former tenant is from Nigeria and I learnt how to prepare Nigerian meals from her, including how to prepare eba.
