Absolutely awesome work. By this time when you do more videos of this you should just do this: Tirpitz (Ebroin). You've already re-engineered it so much and scratchbuilt and modified it that is more accurate. :) When you did the 13 vents/structures why didn't you cast them? Detail probably so fine that it would have been lost?
@74raivo3 жыл бұрын
I thought the same. Ebroin could do much more and easier with casting instead making each and every detail from scratch. However everybody uses methods that suits them and he does it amazingly

@EbroinSong3 жыл бұрын

Hi, Ebroin! Another part of stunning story. Thank you for sharing. Ihave one question. I'm asking because have Bismarck in my stash (donno when i will start it but whatever=) ) If you have that kind of high precision saw whay youdecided to remove barbette B by drilling and cutting? I think it is much easier to remove if by saw, then restore missed hight by plastic sheets (0.2-0.3mm i think) And could you please share information about file you use? Are they diamond coated? what grit?
@EbroinSong3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think sawing wasn't easy because the plastic is too thick and I can't properly hold the ship while sawing. And I don't like electric device like dramel since it left a big scar on my index finger. I use diamond coated one. Thank you for the comment.
@Katachimoto3 жыл бұрын
@Ebroin's Miniatures hi! i'm totally agree with your opininon about any electric devices. They are too powerful for such small works. Safety first! we need all your fingers )) Opposing to my colleagues opinion i think that removing the barbette could solve some fitting and detailing issues. taking into account that all vents on barbettes are incorrect and have to be removed and reworked, i think it would be easy on removed barbette. I will remove B and C by saw but without gluing deck to the hull. I want to make some reinforcements on the its inner side Thank you for reply.

how much magic sculpt do you burn through with each build? Also I didn't think that the deck fittings would have so much errors on them. really impressive mods you've made for the deck
@74raivo3 жыл бұрын
These problems are inherited from the Bismarck kit, I suppose. The decks mostly have not been corrected, though placement of the fittings is different for both ships. Tamiya kit suffers from it as well

greetings from Uruguay. in your opinion, can be use the game world of warships as guide for details to apply on scale models?
@EbroinSong3 жыл бұрын
Greetings from Korea, For historical accuracy, World of Warships isn't that great. There are lots of errors, especially the ships that are added during early stage of the game. (ex. Kongo, Tirpitz, and etc) But their ship helps a lot when I need to see the rigging, certain details, and dimensions if the ship is accurate. So I would sort what is accurate and what is not, before I take them as the reference.
