I fucking love how he looks back at the other players kind of implying “couldn’t do this without you guys…” I’ve met him twice and he really is an exceptional human.

The way he leand back towards david while being hugged from behind, gives that young eddie vibe. So humble and cool

I'm not a big Pearl Jam fan. However, I saw this on Letterman when it first aired. Since then I have watched this clip hundreds of times. God damn...this is what rock is all about. It's totally blazing, balls to the walls, take no prisoners, set your amps to 11. If ever I'm feeling bad I put this on my audio system and crank it all the way up and let it rip!! It makes me feel ALIVE. Vedder is the man...dude you know the answer to it all. Thank you.

Same here. Pearl Jam is not my cup of tea but this song is a pure masterpiece.

It took me a bit to get into them, but once you find a tune of their's that hits the spot, theres no reason why you shouldn't dig deeper.

I was putting my 5 year old daughter to bed and we were working on her reading when her bedroom door creeped open and my daughter quickly turned and pretended to be asleep when her 2 year old brother walked in crawled into her bed with the biggest smile and tried to wake her up. I immediately thought of this song and now it’s my favorite song ever

It seems like he wasn't anticipating the piano intro to work so well without the guitar. I'm a numnuts so I know nothing, but seemed like he made a split decision to let it just roll

it tears me down how he got old, the talent remains yet spirit is gone. I grow up with your songs Eddie, thanks for everything
@79random6 жыл бұрын
As you age you too will find that while your talent AND spirit remains, it's the energy that lessens. Just as the case with Eddie, watch at the 3 minute mark and tell me his spirit has diminished!
@TimmyJamesDafunnyMan6 жыл бұрын
Eddie hasn’t lost his spirit he’s just emotional
@jimm58756 жыл бұрын
Don't get that comment, have you seen him in concert with his boys, not sure why they couldn't be there, but let me assure you, his spirit is very alive, it has to be, he is now carrying the entire legendary Seattle grunge movement on his shoulders, not like that is important to him, it's just good music

I don't see how. He is on key, just can't belt like he used to so much.

It might be due to years of smoking damage done to his vocal cords
