@smilebot4844 ай бұрын
funny i thought he was thinking oh boy you guys are so out of tune. they sounded like crap
@kylehopper45143 ай бұрын
@@smilebot484i thought the same thing. To me he was wanting to bring it in himself with just his guitar like the song actually comes in originally with just his guitar and then the band comes in and follows. But he looked back like ohhh ok yall are bringing it in and they was so loud and out of tune and key (hence how he was singing it) so he just went with it and didn't really like it and if you notice his guitar you couldn't even hear it really he kept looking at sides and looking at his guitar like uhh can you turn it on or up and he has to sing extra loud because of the band behind him. He didn't like it. It wasn't how he wanted it to sound. But he's eddie and went with it. You can tell by how he sang it and acted he didn't like it. Just my opinion. If your a real pearl jam fan you will notice these things I noticed.
@VistavisionMike3 жыл бұрын
I'm not a big Pearl Jam fan. However, I saw this on Letterman when it first aired. Since then I have watched this clip hundreds of times. God damn...this is what rock is all about. It's totally blazing, balls to the walls, take no prisoners, set your amps to 11. If ever I'm feeling bad I put this on my audio system and crank it all the way up and let it rip!! It makes me feel ALIVE. Vedder is the man...dude you know the answer to it all. Thank you.

Don't get that comment, have you seen him in concert with his boys, not sure why they couldn't be there, but let me assure you, his spirit is very alive, it has to be, he is now carrying the entire legendary Seattle grunge movement on his shoulders, not like that is important to him, it's just good music
