Heard this song for the first time at a funeral of a firefighter in Brussels Belgium. A lone firefighter with a bagpipe walked in front of his colleagues carrying their fallen brother whilst playing highland cathedral. The sound went through bone and spine and I have never forgotten about it ever since.

This is the most magnificent piece of music I have ever heard. In the first occasion I burst into tears, something I'd never experienced before. I play it at least once a day as apart from the music, the sight of my beloved pipes, drms, uniforms and Edinburgh Castle is breath taking, but I am reduced to tears every time, tears of sheer joy.
