Nice presentation but in my experience it works fantastic with thin walls. My walls are made of normal bricks so I have massive walls so eero worth nothing to me because the other side of the flat we hardly have any major signal. Room is just 10 meters away from router but there are nearly 6 walls between them…😑

My network provider (xfinity) includes virus protection. However, I have the xfinity router setup as bridge only. Will the xfinity virus protection still work or do I need to pay eero for their security virus protection?

Never pay for another security virus protection. Most are scams anyways. Just don't go to shady websites and you don't even need an antivirus. However if you still instist, yes the Xfinity antivirus that comes with your subscription should work. The eero is just a bigger wifi switch

I use TP Links Deco M9 Plus system, it’s been amazing! Highly recommend, a bit pricey... but no deadspots and a safe, secure and stable WiFi connection.

I use Tenda M6, the budget version, and it's always been amazing. Bought an extra 'cube' recently and now I get full speed WiFi at bottom of my 100' garden in summer house (office). I did get a connection down there when I had the original three, but for video conferencing an extra one made it perfect.

anyone on virgin? this is worth the price. i live in a post war house with walls made of steel! the virgin wifi is terrible even in the room the router is in. the wired connection is perfect, i first tried using powerlines as we have several PCs(not your normal household) this mesh network is faster! i can connect one of the wireless mesh hubs to my pc in a different room to a pc and im getting the download speed i pay for. its phenomenal.

14 minutes ago I received 3 from Frontier, not even sure why? I set one up seems to be working the lite is white? What's next with the othe two? I used same network name and password, right thing to do no idea? App , not that interested, will it just work without?

No, but if yours is together, things will work better if your combo router lets you put it into bridge mode, but not all support this.

You can try putting your router within the ISPs crapbox's DMZ, and disabling the firewall, and DHCP, and putting your new router on a separate subnet, but it increases latency and is buggy (plus if the ISPs router is buggy, you are still contrained by it's ethernet ports failing....)

Simply cannot get it work. I am using the same connections (ethernet) as the router I am trying to replace and it just will not work. When I finally do get to connect to internet, none of the devices I attach to WIFI can access the internet. Right now it just will not go online. How easy are they really to setup up? Not very easy if my experience is any guide. Then when I finally did get it to work the app wouldn't let me sign in, insisting it was not recognised. So I started all over again, and now its stuck on "Registering". Spent the whole day trying to get this thing working.

I laughed out loud seeing how large and unnecessary that camera crew is haha. Could be done with some cheap SONY A6400's/Old canons and a simple boom mic at 1/8th the cost. I mean the production value is great but hilariously over kill at the same time. I just had to laugh at the cinema cameras.

Am I the only one who noticed this took 56 minutes to set up, not “less than half an hour” as stated? The clock on the wall in the kitchen was showing 3:50pm when he said “start the clock”, and his phone showed 4:46pm at the end. Not only that but there’s a continuity error as when he tried to set it up on the landing his phone said 4:38, then 4:44 at the point he said “let’s try moving it”, but despite him then moving it to the bedroom and this obviously being a few minutes later, the phone displayed 4:38 again. It ended up at 4:46. Interesting

What an annoying video?? All this production was NOT NECESSARY!! And what is the purpose of editing in the lights and cams?? Many youtubers provide excellent content without the boastful production!! All you need is at the most two simple cams with enough lighting. No need for other humans to do the videoing.
