Just used this to escape a seat belt and two hooks. I was having trouble getting the granby roll until my coach told me to grab the toes (right hand right foot left hand left foot) and pull them bottom of feet first into my chest. This was QUITE effective and made the roll extremely easy and caused enough discomfort my opponent didn't want to re-engage the seat belt or choke. Once my opponent was belly down, he tried to press up with his arms, I shot my feet under his arms and butterfly hooked them, released his feet and pulled up with mine to take his back. We made a drill of it and worked it back and forth! Thanks, contributing again via PayPal

"Are we okay with the clothes?...yeah we're fine..." proceeds to morph into tiny wide-hipped man with gorilla arms vs. american patriotic giant. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Thank you for all of the great content! Your breakdowns of the techniques make it so much easier to start seeing the details that define the appropriate situations. I swear sometimes some minor oversight in body positions make certain moves feel impossible. You have a real knack for bringing these techniques to within the point that just a bit of rewatching and a bit of study beyond watching these instructionals is enough to set the concept firmly into my repertoir. Much appreciated.

I did this like 20 times against resistance tonight and it definitely works. My drilling partner couldn't stop it. It's too fast

excellent instruction - I do have a question - would there be any concern for damage to your abdominal wall with such an explosive move once the triangle is that tight? And you are sort of exploding into the lock as well. Thanks again.

In all seriousness I would love it if Brian showed us the Schultz headlock Matt Hughes slept Ricardo Almeida with. Its the same concept as an anaconda except you don't figure four the hangs, I believe you keep a gable grip, drop a lot of weight on the back of the neck, and place your head in the well(underneath the armpit) while rotating. People say its just an uncomfortable wrestling move but if you practice it enough and had a great squeeze you'll tap of ton of unsuspecting victims who think they're in a simple front head lock.

It's definitely more than just an "uncomfortable wrestling move", lol. I've put a lot of grapplers to sleep with it at every level. Sneaky move as well. Usually it surprises the opponent in a way that they don't even know to defend against it.

looks like it might be hard to find a moment to swing your leg and lurch forward when you're furiously hand-fighting trying to prevent him getting to your neck.

Looks great just a quick question. When you roll from it dynamically is it possible to break the guys foot? It seems kinda dangerous :F cheers!
