Some things I've noticed: 0:11 Introduction of the two short guitar strums that outline phrases 0:16 Introduction of a clarinet line with a ton of trills 0:23 This VERY subtle keytar flutter underneath it all 0:33 That "guitar strum that outlines phrases" both changes chords to end the verse, and it acts as a pickup for the chorus too 0:36 Introduction of a keytar syncopated rhythm, that dominates the verse at 0:56 0:56 The first few bars of this verse follow the first few of the first verse, in that they're without the clarinet line and just have the bass and perc line, but it's "more" with that keytar syncopation that the chorus introduced 1:05 Not only does the guitar just have that comedic timing on that twangy chord, but it's not even thrown in for effect - it's actually " that guitar strum that outlines phrases" again, just shifted 1:22 There's some kinda plucky 6-note rise in the background here, which is a pickup for the chorus that's ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from the pickup of the first chorus. Not sure if this is somewhere else in the piece, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. 1:40 Obligatory "Danny's harmony is fucking amazing" 1:48 New chorus, also in the same beat as the first two with a minimal start, but this one's new thing is with these piano embellishments + a more ragged bass solo.
