ELDEN RING RL1 vs Godrick the Grafted solo no damage

I added Golden Vow to a dagger & picked up the Commander's Standard for its buff but at the time didn't realize that it doesn't stack with Flame Grant me Strength. This is the 1st of many similar mistakes I made during this run. Still, Serpent Hunter+9 wrecked him. Just bait out his rolling jump attack for easy punish.
