Would it be possible to have the 'putting the rear wheel on' bit added please, so that it can be seen how difficult it might be to remove the rear wheel to sort a puncture. Thanks.

Hi Alf, please send an email to info ((at)) electrom.ca and we'll get you that info.

Who thought the thump thump music would be a good idea...🤔

I do, it‘s the Free to use Version of „Song 2“ from Blur, and I quite like it… that‘s the problem with KZbins latest rules concerning rights of media used in your videos, since they are liable about violations, they restrict music samples to 15 seconds, and Video and Picture content to an equally ridiculous resolution. Don’t get me started on how that kind of kills all creativity on KZbin…

How easy is it to clean and maintain the chains and gear sprockets from road debris, please? I'm ignorant about recumbent bikes, but what is the situation regarding employing belt drives instead of chains? With its long range, decent baggage capacity and partial protection from the elements, this looks as if it might be a good cruiser for remote, tarmac roads around Highland Scotland. What would the base price be?

Hi Frank, thanks for the comment. The Electrom drive chain requires very little maintenance as it is almost completely protected from the elements. We do not use drive belts for a number of reasons: they are finicky to set up, hard to keep in tension over long runs, and prone to skipping in our application. Please use the contact form on our website www.electrom.ca for price info.

Is it a prototype? If yes when does the finished model get released?

This is the consumer version, as of now. we've sold a few to customers and will be monitoring their performance.

Make a red version with more closed around fairings and an IRL Akira bike is finally aviable and not for you dont have to sell a kidney for it
