Diamond Benford yes I never liked Stefan either, only thing I liked about him was when he finally fell for Caroline lol she was honestly my favorite character and I really felt for her when she asked Bonnie why she was never the one and why all the guys she likes never like her. So I really liked seeing how much she matured and grew into a more confident version of herself after she turned into a vampire. Then when she was helping Stefan and they became friends, her influence on him made him likable and then when they finally ended up together I was so happy but not for Stefan, I was happy for Caroline. Then shit happened and Stefan killed Enzo and I went right back to hating him.

Originals can't die from sunlight. It's extremely painful because they're burning, but they don't die. That's why Alaric was able to walk in the sun without dying. Regular vampires need daylight rings so they can survive in the sun, the originals just use them because burning alive hurts.

The episode where Elena turns is my favorite of the series followed by the episode with Stephan and Elena’s first kiss. The visual acting worked so much better than any dialogue could. The series of arabesques with Elena under the water in both vehicles was just genius. I just loved Damon’s reaction to realizing vampire blood was in her system. I’m a bit sad Sean immediately made the connection because if you watch the episode without pausing the dramatic effect as it dawns on the viewer punches you right in the gut.
