This was a Kickstarter campaign end party for the Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina cartoon they've been developing. There's the entire cast and crew of Critical Role, couple of folks from the animation studio they've been working with, and frickin' Joel Hodgson from Mystery Science Theater. Joel was going to hand over the champion's belt to CR after their project surpassed MST3K as the #1 most funded video project on Kickstarter. And he did, but he also got everyone smashed after making them go through a couple of bottles of whiskey in about half an hour. This game… I see the flaws people discuss. I understand their pain with how the story treated Joel. But, I still think this game doesn’t deserve all the hate it’s gotten. For me, any story that takes risks is better than just doing what everyone expects. I like when a story can surprise me, I love it when I don’t know where a story is going. That tells me that the people making the story are trying their hardest, that they really cared for their audience. So regardless of the problems, I’d still rate this game a 10/10 it’s depressing yes but it was marketed that way originally so I’m good with that.

My favorite part is that it’s Ashley biting Laura. Idk the game all that well, although I recently watched a como of Dina and Ellie,but I’m here from critical role and that’s just really funny to me.

playing the game is also a lot of fun when you realize 90% of the npcs you kill in the first game are liam and travis. and a way for me to make the story of part 2 a little less painful is when i remember abby and ellie are ash and laura who actually really love each other
