We went in, he had a beautiful Boxer dog and had just recently bought a lovely powerful separates system. He played ELO songs. I fell in love with ELO at that time. I was around 8 years old. ELO really is a good go-to group for exacerbating certain feelings with their music. This is good for feeling hopeful, Blue Sky is good for when you already feel good and Don’t Bring Me Down is excellent for when you’re feeling like you want to get somewhere with a purpose OR when you don’t want to be messed with. My overall favourite ELO track, the melody, the counter melodies , the intricacies, of the orchestra and choir, the fifties influences , the call and respond vocals , the Philly soul feel, and a great tune, all combine for a spectacular pop record i feel is unchallenged in its brilliance.

I'm 35 right now. My dad used to play their albums when I was a kid all the time (he still does to this day) and I am so glad he did because they are so talented and full of people that really have a passion for music. I play their music when I'm with my kids and I hope they play it for theirs so that this band can live on forever! Definitely legends in my book!

I've loved ELO with all my heart since I was like 6-7 (1996). I'm 30 still grooving on them. Dad made me appreciate them, he would always put them on in the car. that's how i got to know the best music ever. ELO, Dire Straits, KISS, The Travelling Wilburys..... I don't think I should mention bands like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin.... Anyway..... All of a sudden, he passed away in March 2019 (stroke) while driving, well basically he was waiting for mum from the shops... at 54! imagine how she felt at the time when she saw him and thought he was kidding.. playing her for a fool.. he would do that sometimes :) ahhh... how much i miss him ... so does my mum... I'm not gonna stop listening to ELO. their music is not bringing me bad thoughts about how my life would've been different with my dad being alive. I usually blast ELO songs in the car. :)))) I AM HERE WITH YOU. LOVE YOU ALL. GREETINGS FROM RUSSIA

I was so young. ELO was like so futuristic and was such a vibrant sound. This song i never knew the name of. I always sang "Slow down." That was the name i called it. So good to hear it again. Brings a a tear to my eye. I was so young. What a beautiful sound. ELO 4 EVA.
