Very good video yet again been to the house in palm springs it's a lovely place. Think after the Aloha concert there was nothing to excite Elvis back to doing the same thing again, Las Vegas, concerts, recording sad songs. ELVIS must have been depressed most of 73. Thanks again for the great video.

Yes definitely signs of the downward spiral in 73. Cool you've been out to the palm springs house. Thanks for watching 👍🙂

I wonder did Elvis spend money as an incentive to go out on tour tomake more money so he could keep spending buying people houses cars and jewelry it cost elvis millions over his lifetime on top of the cost of actually touring , Elvis pay when all his costs were taken out were not that much .. 73 should have been used as a springboard for Elvis to do new exciting things not just the same old formula a big opportunity lost .

Good points Peter. I think certainly after Aloha, it was a case of not much change in touring habits and maybe the spending was to was a symptom of relieving the monotony. He'd do another tour and make more money and he fell in to that cycle. Ultimately, he was the only one that could have done anything about it. As you say, an opportunity lost. Thanks for watching and commenting Peter

It's ironic that kang Rhee passed away on the same date as elvis. You could see the downward spiral , I personally think it was when cilla left n especially Lisa! His ego took a bashing to say the least! Did you know he asked Eddie fadal to be his manager in 59 , when he used to go to his house. Vernon had a lot to do with giving Parker his job back , I think they where always worried about going back to being poor .and dr ghanem was the one who gave him daily injections of Demerol n nearly killed him. 👍🏿👍🏿

Thanks for watching again J RC! 👍😊. Great comments. Yes, I think Vernon was having a dicky fit when he saw the numbers Parker had concocted that EP would owe him. If he or Elvis had a bit of nous they would have hired someone who knew figures to fight it. Definitely a fear of a return to poverty that Elvis took Parker back on so quickly! I think it's fair to say people's opinions of Priscilla vary quite a bit!! However, I don't think it's a coincidence (along with the medication abuse) it ended up with a sudden decline in his health and him in hospital just a few days after the divorce was finalised. Finally, I don't recall the Fadal as manager story at all so that's very interesting (I guess you mean 58 rather than 59 though - typo 😉).

Yes he sure did , if only they had more managent skills. Yes eddies daughter was saying on another channel a few months ago.

Think it was 59 when he was in the army and Eddie used to invite him to his house!

It would be 58 if it was Eddie's house In Texas J RC. EP was in Germany all of 59.
