I have bad news. That happened here in México, the Coyote was injured and that girl tried to rescue him, yeah she thought it was a dog but still, the animal was in danger. The coyote was named "Pancho" by the people. Sadly, veterinarians were not able to save him, so Pancho died some months ago.

I think you are confused...theres no biological or scientifical difference between a coyote, and a dog, its only an order difference. Coyotes are technically and literally wild dogs, the only thing a canine needs to be considered a dog, is to be domesticated.

I had mine since she was very young and she'd never have been happy in the wild. I'm assuming you mean in this context though-yeah, one that grew to adulthood in the wild would get depressed in a situation that made them feel boxed in in comparison, sure. My coyote never could be around small children, she'd try to kill them 100% of the time. I could never take her off her leash in public, ever. The times she lunged at playing cooing toddlers she'd fling herself at them so hard that she'd be completely airborne and she'd hit the end of her leash like hitting a wall and rip my shoulder half out. Still, half-wrecked shoulder is preferable to whole-wrecked toddler so I put up with it happening every time and never let go. She _ALWAYS_ hid from men wearing hats. She was not brave. Coyotes are brave with 98 friends at their back. They are not brave 1 on 1 unless there's something wrong with them like rabies or late-stage starvation. It makes sense that this one didn't go beserk when "rescued" the way some wild animals would have if she caught it without its giant mess of buddies nearby.

@Kevin Lee Yeah. Many of them are annoying however that means you cant hear if the computer power supply unit or a power adapters is starting to fail. Both computer and power adapters can catch fire when they fail. Even phones can make a high pitched sound the moment before they catch fire or explode. So I wouldnt say it is fantastic. You just have to take the bad with the good. I have hearing issues too, just not hearing loss. I cant hear people speak in a crowded room of people speaking. My brain cant filter out the background noises. Ive forgot what it is called. Highly annoying. Background static in phone calls mess with the hearing too. Can be as simple as a loud fan running.

The coyote story was actually sad. It was found had a broken leg and internal injuries, the rescuer never realized that it was a coyote because of how docile it was and thought that it was just a stray dog. Sadly the coyote couldn't be saved, it died 5 days later in a wildlife hospital.
