Hey Emkay I live in florida and I can tell you rn that stuff like this happens in the news all the time. Like seriously! Arizona has a worst education system than ours and somehow we are worst! Thank god it's the minority but still. Florida is so filled with people who are the loud minority and hell when the state wanted to hold a conference to hear the citizens grievances. Guess who were the only people to actually show up? That's right! Unqualified individuals who just went on a rant about how mask can suffocate you (with no evidence btw) and how "god gave us the air we breath" and "mask show us to the devil". The only person that made any sort of sense in that conference was the music teacher who actually brought a valid point on how students cant even play their instruments with a mask.

But even so, i wish sites would stop making click bait like that. Its so stupid since the only people who fall for it are people who have no idea he died. 12:40 in short, black holes are massive pits of gravity that bend space-time because of their incredibly dense centers, or singularities.. When a star dies, it collapses inward rapidly. As it collapses, the star explodes into a supernova-a catastrophic expulsion of its outer material.
@duskshadowanimations33034 жыл бұрын
Actually that is how Black holes work, the process is called spaghettification and it's named rather appropriately because as our planet gets sucked in by the Black hole everything starts to stretch out like an elastic band, and when earth gets approximately 1 lightyear away from the black hole it snaps and starts to get ripped apart by the black hole. BTW I didn't comment this to facepalm you but I did it because I didn't know before this video and I looked it up. I hope this helped!

it doesnt get ripped apart it gets warped by space cus no night can escape it and make it look like its strething and that black hole gotta just gulp it up because of how iyt is
@Fedico70004 жыл бұрын
It would not stretch it in this manner and your statement about what would happen when the earth is a light-year away from a black hole is completely invalidated by the fact that you mention nothing about the size of the hypothetic black hole which (aside from distance) determines almost everything about how it would interact with a planet. A comparable size black hole, like in the pic, right up next to the planet would tear it into large chunks of (primarily) molten metal and rock before absorbing most of that mass and depending on the back hole's mass and exactly how close it is it could turn the rest into a orbiting stream/disc that would shortly after be absorbed and possibly also fling some of it off into space.
