4:25 as someone with asd (autism spectrum disorder), this breaks my heart. Those people were not only making fun of the autistic community, but specifically of those who have it the hardest. Its not something to make fun of and it can get really hard if you can't get diagnosed. You can't get the right help with a diagnosis so you have to figure things out by yourself, which isn't easy. Its a mental disorder, not a comedy.

@@Elfilinfan Yes, there are. There's "high-functioning", and "low-functioning". High-functioning is when you're still able to do everything like normal. You just have trouble with certain things. Low-functioning is when you need help with... basically everything. In a wheelchair and everything. It's a spectrum. A sliding scale. These are the two ends of it. The lower-functioning end has people like this. I am autistic myself. High-functioning.

hi! clinically diagnosed autistic person here. just so you know, the labels "high-functioning" and "low-functioning" are really harmful. in old times, people who were considered "high-functioning" were functioning members of society, and people who were considered "low-functioning" were killed. the reason is because "low-functioning" people are not able to think for themselves and need more help than others, whereas "high-functioning" people may not need so much help than other autistics and can be considered talented. but the thing is, we only want to be accepted as normal human beings and not be singled out. sure we need more help than others when it comes to this, but all we want is to be treated as people, not like babies or a flipping disease. also, autism isn't linear, it's a spectrum. there's different levels of everything, and no autistic person is the same. so, just to make it more simple, instead of using labels as such, just use "autistic people" next time (it's what majority of them prefer). thank you! p.s. (yes, the autism challenge is awful as f*ck. i never head of it before and i am so glad i haven't, but oh my god, why are people like this, mocking and harming autistic people for clout nonetheless. this has to stop.)

The way people view autism disgusts me, as if we're all idiots. Like yes, I stim (verbally and non verbally), experience sensory overload, and sometimes struggle to communicate or interpurt tones. Still, you can't tell by looking at me (surprise, people dont 'look' autistic). In addition, I'm going a selective private college next fall and got so many scholarships my tuition went from 50k to 14k a year. I've played the cello for 5 years and I also play the ukelele, some guitar, and sing alto in chorus. I'm a good artist and an amazing writer. I did an honors program in high school, I was colorguard captain, I'm very social and can even be considered extroverted. At 1:00 the "make them pay for razors" things refers to the fact that tampons and pads have a luxury tax imposed on them - making them far more expensive on average - , while razors don't, and/or that male prisoners don't have to pay for razors and shaving products, whereas female inmates have to pay for tampons (costs can be around $0.50/tampon!!)

It's about many male hygiene products not being taxed as they are "essencial for male well being", therefore a necessity, while female hygiene products, as tampons, being taxed, therefore increasing their prices even when tampons (among other things) are indeed essencial for female well being, therefore also a necessity.
