Harry Gardner Yeah i think that happened like Apollo said it was kind becouse od Rusia becouse Rusia didn't help his allies he was just sitting and firing at my flank which wasn't good enough and that's why we pushed them back

Empire supporter Actually no the reason why we dit it was the situation in the beginning which happened to me I lost my general and the same Arty by Rusia and i was surrounded by Rusia and Austria so I had to fall back to my allies and then we wer just pushing and pushing them back and why we went for their 4 pointer? Well we just realised in this situation we could defend there and that's it :)

Russian player had an opportunity to set his artillery piece DIRECTLY on flank of that huuge French line... One accurate cannonball would melt down dozens, if not hundreds of troops. Lack of "strategic eyes" I suppose.

he did that for a couple of occasions, but he couldn't do it repeatedly because the french lines constantly change and the artillery are really slow in movement. So he lose a lot of shots on the way to align. He could've done a bit more better in alignment yeah. But he did a pretty good job

Hey Apollo, the "e" at the end of the number of the french line infantry is the french equivalent of "th". So just call them the 108th line infantry instant of one hundred and eight E line infantry.

pixie, "jeune garde" means young guard, "moyenne garde" means middle guard, and "vielle garde" means old guard, now the old infantry was divided into grenadiers 1st regiment, and chasseuers 2nd regiment (the are the ones who have the much less illustrius uniforms considered to the grenadiers, but equally dangerous). also elite guard heavy cav are the grenadiers a cheval, classed as the oldest of the old (and the best cav in-game) and dragons de l'imperatrice.also pretty hardcor are considered the polish lancers, "chasseur a cheval de la garde" (both classed old guard), and the carabiniers a cheval who never got into the guard because they were considered remnants of the old regime. love all your vids! have a nice one!

Actually a rather historical strategy from the French players. Napoleon used to focus his troops like that too defeat his enemies, because his army was outnumbered by the coalitions. He make it up by making sure his army is not outnumbered on the battlefield.

Ugh these battles are too amazing. But my potato of a school laptop lags when there's more than 2 armies on the field on low settings in vanilla Napoleon so I know I would never run this mod. Everyone tells me to get a new pc but I'm only 14 so I can't spend that kind of money on a computer. But anyways, these replays with your commentary is the best there is. Thanks Apollo.
