How do you get a snare to sound like this? Is this purely just how you tune it? Or is it more so the type of snare? Don’t know a ton about this so my bad if this is obvious lol

Combination of everything you mentioned man and the recording and mixing too. To get this sound I tuned the snare medium high and played with rimshots. Let me know if you need any more info? 😁
