I can't wait for the movie to be available online. I admire a lot of people you interviewed in the film, especially Leo Babauta who's books helped me simplify my working schedule with his 3 MITs, and later the possessions. Now I am reading you first book and it is inspiring!

Thank you for adding value to my life. Your podcast has become a weekly ritual for me. I wish you both the best and hopefully I'll get the chance to watch your documentary online.

I am guilty of spending a bit too much time on youtube. not only do I upload videos myself I also love watching other people's content. thanks for the tip with setting aside an hour or two to indulge in watching youtube videos, I'll make this a habit. also, delighted to see that you mentioned impact man, great movie! putting videos online also helps to keep you accountable, at least it has helped me a lot with my zero waste and minimalism journey :) keep up the good work, I usually don't listen to podcasts but yours is divine! :)

What happened to episode 008? Was it pulled down or was it never in existence at all?

I didn't realise that you could turn autoplay off on utube but once I did I was more productive to only listen see the thing I wanted.

Love the podcasts, though this very interesting question 54:42 is not satisfyingly answered for me =( the thing i hear are items that are expensive and neither in the Just in case nor the Just for when category. i think there are a hand full of items that can be just kept. things you didn't use for 3 years, n then reused them again regularly, and them put them away again and so... =)

Hi there, I'm wondering if you would consider making shorter versions of your pod casts? Your content is wonderful as well as interesting but time consuming to listen to in one sitting. My suggestion would be to maybe deal with one question/opinion and your thoughts on it at a time which would likely only use up ten minutes or so - and then perhaps group all these short podcasts dealing with the same subject into a series. Perhaps this is too much work - but it would be awesome to listen to short snatches of a subject in those free moments that sometimes occur in any given day. Just a thought!

Who in their twenties can afford to put away $1200 a month? Certainly not most people, surely?

@@ZenDragoonYT I'm not sure it's that simple but I guess it's slightly different in the US. I'm a laboratory technician in the NHS in the UK. We can't fight for better pay as everyone gets assigned to a point on the pay scale and there aren't any pay rises. Myself and even my more experienced colleagues only make £1500 a month after tax. We all have science related degrees and our roles are quite specialist yet we still get low wages.

i still dont understand the debt thing. if you don't own your house you couldn't retire? we will own our house in a few years, so then be able to work so much less, trabel and contribute. why is owning a house so bad?

Havin a mortgage gets you stuck in one place. Some when you move to work on another job its easer to rent instead of buy. Though here in holland its not so much a problem.
