As a person who is married to a fence contractor I can tell you my husband brings it home and is just as stressed more than you think. Winter is coming so work slows down so you have to worry about jobs. In the summer and spring there are so much work you have to make customers wait weeks and they get pissed and you chance losing a job. Customers and neighborhood associations are a whole different level you wouldn’t expect. On top of that his body is so completely wore down and broke he literally has all discs bad in his back , 2 bad knees and torn rotator cuff that is bad. He is now 55 and has no other skills so there is that. He stresses all the time about money especially in the winter because we have a large family . We have 2 younger kids still at home, a special needs daughter who is almost 30 but will always live at home and be taken care of and a adult son who doesn’t live with us. My husband is so stressed and hurts all the time so he does nothing but complain and lay on the couch at home. So yeah just a little correction it’s not that easy for a fence contractor. Lol
