Thank you so much for your kind words Paul! I'm just finishing the ownership experience episode, which I'm hoping to upload by tomorrow.. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and I'm quite sure you will be extremely happy with the bike. The 2021 model is even more exciting, thanks to the revised suspension and the practical 12V socket! :)

@@KingJulienMoto Yes the improvements for 2021 look good, I also read Honda have improved the LCD display to make it easier to see but not seen any reviews yet.

I prefer the rs 660 aprilia , what do you think about that bike ?
@grodt884 жыл бұрын
you can buy two Honda CBR650R for one Aprilia rs660 price
@KingJulienMoto4 жыл бұрын
The new Aprilia is packed with electronics, has more power and torque than the CBR and they absolutely nailed the design. I like the bike quite a bit and I hope to have a chance to test it one day. I totally understand if somebody who has the money decides to buy one. Still, for me personally it doesn’t have enough added value to be worth the investment. It’s still a road oriented sports bike and it doesn’t seem to offer that much more fun than the CBR, judging by the specs. Also, as a guy who has to watch his budget, I personally don’t have full trust in Italian producers. There’s usually a lot of running cost involved with them. Japanese bikes are super reliable and forgiving and you can perform the maintenance and little fixes without having to go to service outside of recommended intervals, which in case of my Honda is every 12.000 km. Japanese manufacturers have a manual for pretty much everything online and you have a lot of aftermarket parts etc. Sometimes it really pays off to have a super popular brand and besides, I am totally in love with the looks of my baby :-)

I'm a new aspiring rider and want input on what is best for someone like me. I was making my mind up between the cbr 650r 2021 or the 650 ninja. Both are pretty but just not sure which one is best I know honda is pricier but only 2 or 3 grand more so for me not too bad. But yeah money aside im still on the fence between the two any advice is appreciated.

Hey man, I was deciding between the exact same bikes and Honda won, since I think it is simply a better allrounder. Long story short, you can totally use Honda as both, racer or touring bike, while Kawi is definitely a tourer. Now long story long, Kawi is a wonderful bike, has the TFT display which looks amazing and the parallel-twin engine has more torque, so I assume it feels very much alive and you can have a lot of fun. Where the bike lost points in my eyes was the peak power which is significantly better with Honda and ergonomics, which are very much upright and relaxed, with the clip-on handlerbars placed quite high, so it feels more like a naked bike and tucking down doesn’t feel natural on it.. It also felt a little like a plastic toy when I actually sat on it but that could be my subjective feeling. Honda has a shitty display, let’s face it, so it might not feel as premium as Kawi at first glance, but other than that it is the sportier out of the two with the more aggressive, but still very comfy ergos, perfectly suitable for daily cruising AND sporty riding and it feels like a solid, mature piece of bike. Also, I fell in love with the smooth, lovely sounding in-line four. Honda has it all for me and I think it is as good as it gets as an allrounder. It’s definitely the more versatile out of the two, but if you don’t care about racing, then Kawi might be a perfect fit for you. I honestly don’t think you would be dissapointed by either of the two :-)
@Elmafusa694 жыл бұрын
@@KingJulienMoto wow thanks bro this really solidified it for me then lol I'm getting the honda hopefully next year or so. But yeah the honda to me just visually looked like a more mature look and fit for myself. And no I won't be racing much but then again I might the itch to go faster once I'm comfortable haha. The all black and gold honda looks sooo sexy 😍 👌

@KingJulienMoto2 жыл бұрын
Nice pick! Depends on what you’re expecting from your bike dude. CBR is a great and comfy allrounder for daily riding while R6 is a proper supersport, pretty aggressive and not so versatile, but great for a track day.

Hey dude I really apologize but I have a quick question. Last one I promise. I just ordered the seat Cowell from Walmart, it looks cool however it’s not the right color red. It’s too orange looking. Did you buy dark red?
@KingJulienMoto3 жыл бұрын
Hey Tony mate! :) No problem, you can ask as many questions as you like and I will try to answer ;) I ordered mine directly through Honda official dealership exactly for this reason. I checked dozens of aftermarket alternatives and was never sure about the color.. So the only sure thing is if you spend an extra buck and order the original manufaturer part. Otherwise it will most likely be either too bright or too dark..

My man why 650R nd not a 600rr?
@KingJulienMoto3 жыл бұрын
Fair question mate. My main reasons are 1. comfort (more importantly passenger comfort), 2. price and 3. availability. I wanted a brand new bike but you can’t get the 600rr in Europe anymore.. Hey one more thing, so I was shifting hard, at 10,000 RPM, and the transmission bounced around a ton, so It's okay now, I think I did not use enough force to shift up with, so is this transmission capable of shifting hard quickly?
@KingJulienMoto3 жыл бұрын
Hey Anthony mate, I was having the same problem as the bike was new and freshly broken into.. I would even hit false neutrals at high speeds in high revs, so I was afraid to shift quickly and I needed to be 1000% sure.. Then I got the pedal adjusted so that I wouldn’t need to pull it up as much and use as much force and after that it was fine. Maybe you have a similar issue and you’re just not used to the bike yet? Also, hope your baby passed the break in period already, otherwise 6000 revs is the max you shouldn’t pass until you had the first oil change ;)

do you recommend this bike for new riders ? like 0 experience
@KingJulienMoto3 жыл бұрын
I would actually. As a 4-cylinder it is very smooth and not too scary, although it is quite heavy, which can be tricky for a beginner. it can also be aggressive when you rev it up to 7- 8000 revs but if you’re keeping it within 6000 revs it’s very friendly even for a beginner. I had a 300cc bike before for less than a year and I felt ready for something bigger after couple months already, so there’s that.. but it’s individual, I know guys who had a 250cc bike for years and didn’t complain at all :) go and test ride it if you have a chance at your local dealership and you’ll see for yourself ;)
